Personality: August is a walking, talking, grinning, laughing eyesore of color. He'll talk you ear off, crack a few jokes and take you out for drinks before you even know what's happening. However, he's more laid-back than you might think--he'd take a day lazing by the pool over just about anything.

August tends to look on the bright side of things and is very, very easily infatuated whether it's with people or a new ice cream flavor. He has a habit of following his crushes around like a lovesick puppy until they finally stop his advances. He's been through more relationships than he can count on two hands, and though he's been dumped just as many times, it doesn't take long for him to rebound and start the process all over again. Generally, he's a ball of brightly-colored sunshine--he can come off as overbearing and obnoxious, but in all honesty, August is just out to have a good time.

History: August grew up as the only child of a pair of artists who later split due to artistic differences. Though he bounced between their living quarters often, he spent most of his time with his mother and would often help her mix her paints. For a long while in school he thought he would become a painter and vehemently refused to think about any other profession, but it was painfully apparent he had not inhereted his parents artistic ability. He was heartbroken for a good 15 minutes before seeing someone headed to the pool deciding he wanted to be a swim instructor instead.

His life since moving out of his parents' living quarters and into his own has been a parade of crushes and rejection and more crushes as he continually falls head over heels for nearly every person he meets.

He has a huge soft spot for kids--they're almost as enthusiastic about everything as he is.
