Wtf is this. What happened to the territories? Why does Austria have a random part of Italy instead of South Tyrol? Whats up with France/Spain/Portugal? Why is Germany the size of the 3rd reich? Whats wrong with all this?

2) It's an occupied zone, not under tight Soviet control due to prominent rebel movements in the areas.

4) That was actually a mistake on my part which I decided to keep because I though it looked cooler than the OTL PPR flag.
5) Denmark was annexed by the DDR for ease of Soviet administration in Europe. Portugal is in near-anarchy as a safe-haven for anti-Soviet operations.
6) Soviet-collaborator areas of France don't have direct access to the Mediterranean, so it's administered by Italy for logistical reasons.
In any sense, I'll be remaking a much more clear and better version of this in the future.

I hope I can help you with my suggestions. Honestly I love your idea. Another suggestion if I may, I think you should add a legend for people to recognize which is which country and why they are so.

1) I don't know, I just though it looked nice on Google images. I'm pretty sure it was from AH wiki.
2) The flag isn't theirs. The Soviet occupiers use that flag. However, rebels have a lot of de facto control over the region.

2) But if that territories are part of Soviet government... should not carry the flags of their respectives territories? For example Spain is part of the Warsaw Pact, but in that case would not make sense that the territory was separated. Unless, indeed, the territory was formally under a different government, but is not the case, there are only rebels

Originally, the entirety of France and Spain were under Soviet occupation, but as various zones of the countries become compliant, they are incorporated into the French and Spanish republics. The entire Western Eurozone is de jure part of Spain and France respectively, but as I said, there's little actual control so the Soviets moved in and are the de facto controlling power in the region.
So officially, the zone is part of Soviet puppets, but since rebels started causing problems the Soviets are occupying the area, and the flag they're using is used to represent the occupation.

This isn't a very good TL (I plan on remaking it eventually).
Basically, pro-West radicals take over Poland and Hungary shortly after the US collapses to Soviet and Chinese forces, forcing the DDR, Czechoslovakia, and Romania to step in. The USSR divides up the countries later.

This is a really old piece. I wanted to make the countries a more equal size, so I adjusted the borders. I plan on doing a better one once I finish my Lebensraum scenario.

I'm sure if Germany was gonna eat up bits of France, the Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland and Denmark I'm sure they'd be able to hold on East Prussia and Memel.
