Another Avengers piece!
Everyone's favorite "genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist."
Iron Man introduced me to the entire franchise way back when it first came out. (Fours years ago?) RDJ = Tony Stark. They are the same person. I love him.
This was a fun piece to do--I knocked it out in 2 days because I had so much fun painting all those little lights. (Ignore my lazy background skillz). Hope you like it!

It stuns me that you can make such realistic pieces with paints. Although I find it odd how the hologram is a bit fuzzy, but I know that's just because of how paint is (though in contrast to that statement, it's a nice lighting effect).

Thank you so much! I totally agree with you about the fuzziness of the hologram. I had a hard time figuring out how to create precise lines and simultaneously give a sense of depth. Any suggestions?

I'm not familiar with paints, and I doubt coloured pencils would help. Perhaps you could use an art program to draw the hologram and edit it over the painting?

I just felt the need to comment on this again, since I somehow only now realized how brilliant this painting really is. You managed to capture Tony's expression so perfectly! The shading and lighting is spot on, and I can't even tell you how much I love how you painted his eyes. Marvellous. Outstanding. You really have some mad painting skills.

This is picture is so lovely! I don't even know where to start.
Well, then again, I do. Love the fact that you depicted him, as the title put it, as the "Man of Science", not the "Man of Iron" and not the "Man of Ladies." We often get to see his badass and his cocky side, but what really endeared him to me (well, okay, besides his cockyness and his big mouth) is his genuin love for science. You captured that so well in his awed expression in this picture. Where others stare awed into the sky or at other people, Tony stares awed at that virtual-3-d-computer-interface-pop-out-thingy. (Does it has a name? I'm so stupid.) It shines just like it did in the movies, yet your own style gives it an eery quality.
As for quality, you have it in tons. The style, the colours, the details and the realism. I already sound repepetative, but its all there and I love it. Thank you truely much for sharing it!

I agree, he gets drawn so often as the "genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist," that he is. But he's also a person who adores learning and is in awe of building things. I think that's why he's so cool to me, too. I wish I knew what the computer thing was called, too! (Heck, I wish I had one, because it would be amazing).
