Description Some doodles from today. This is Annubella Dankin, my reformed rogue/wizard/chef character. I've never actually role played her as she is my auxiliary character in case Linn should die.

She's very flirtatious and uses her looks to her advantage whenever she can. It helps that only 1 out of 12 dwarves are female and, well, she's pretty easy on the eyes. (She has a charisma score of 15 or so. 10 is average looking.) She's not promiscuous but that doesn't stop her from giving men the impression that she is- especially with shopkeepers like poor Dwallin there. And, yes, that is ment to be taken badly. X3

Incase you can't read my writing:

I'm guessing she asked where the nearest inn would be and he gave her directions and offered that she could just bed down with him for a while- her response being:

Bella: Oh, sure you say that now but after a few weeks without sleep you'll be dying to get rid of me so I'll take myself down to the inn. Thanks for the offer though Darlin', I'll keep it in mind.

I censored Dwallin's thoughts for you kiddies though

Oh, and that is her familiar Andrew, a common raven. He looks like he's an inch away from death, he speaks dwarf and he is a thief. He got most of that side of Bella's personality so he constantly tries to talk her into committing crimes. Like her little shoulder devil.

Oh- and Linn in a pretty dress 'cause she cleans up nice and doesn't get to dress up often enough.

Expect more doodles tomorrow of Linn and 's character. I'd upload them now but I need to find them first...

Oh I bet she is flirty. A shirt like that probably helps too. Sorry, I had to say that. But she is beautifull in a dwarven ,not human, way if you get my meaning.

So Linn could get cuter after all.

The shirt AND skin tight pants do help I'm glad you think so though, I wanted to make her pretty, outspoken, and charismatic because, well, you don't see that much in dwarves (most DnD dwarves anyhow.) But when I rolled her stats she had a high charisma score (even with the -2 dwarves take) so she's not your average dwarf woman. Her sash is also a belt of dwarven kind which gives her a +4 on dealings with dwarves (+2 when dealing with halflings and gnomes) so she's darn near irresistible

D'aww, she does clean up nice huh?

I wonder if she could use her charm on Grimer... I suppose she could, Grimer is a man after all, but the silent and unsocial paladin would not be a easy target.

I try to make Grimer good looking too, just because I imagine it makes me original. The good thing about males is that you can get away with making them half naked.

Well, I was complaining to Justin the other night that if Linn had to die or leave that my new character wouldn't have any neat magical items. He suggested that Bella knew Linn from when Linn traveled with Grimer thus she could give her something. Perhaps she did try to charm him? Maybe they actually liked each other but it's hard to get to know someone with an irritating little gnome hovering about. As a fellow traveling shop owner though she wouldn't stay in one place with one person long and with Grimer's nature he'd probably pretend like it was good riddance.

Or maybe she just met them once and remembered her.

XD Yeah, you can't so much do that with women well, you can, but you have to execute it carefully lest it ends up looking like smut.

So this is going to be yet another long conversation about another part of Grimer and Linns life? Not that I am complaining or anything, itΒ΄s fun as usual.

If anyone can handle Linn it should be Grimer, he just send her on some work beyond the range of he voice when needed. Grimer usualy prefers fat ladies with facial hair but after a beautifull sideburn rogue bound him and robbed him he decided that looks are not that important. But aside from those little details I guess they would have much in common and make a good couple.

I deliberately bait you into those conversations because I love them so.

Bella probably has facial hair but shaves it because she relies on her charm to do business most of the time and, well, not every species digs women with sideburns.

I haven't gotten too involved with her character yet.

Your evil schemes are proceeding then.

I suppose so. Grimers beard will probably make him popular with many spieces though. I wish I had a beard like that.

Well we might just change that in time.

I think Bella may actually go for a shaven man or at least a short, carefully trimmed beard. I'm not sure though. Like I said, she's still a work in progress.

Well since Bella is also a merchant I am sure she understands that a shaved or short bearded dwarf would be too unorthodox for most customers so Grimer have to have a long beard. Atlest he makes a effort to keep it clean, well trimmed and carefully braided.

Also Grimer has other qualities that makes up for his beard such as being a tough and reliable person, owning a big wagon and a body ripped with muscle.

Very cool You know in Tolkein Dwarves could understand the language of crows and ravens

You may want to read Terry Prachett if you haven't already. *hugs*

Terry Pratchett? What is it about?

You know Ravens can mimic sounds in their environment including human speech- they have the largest brains of all birds. Of course, in Andrew's case, he's also magical so he gets an attitude too. XD

It's hard to explain since it's a series, but this [link] should give you some basic information. It's a very humorous series, especially as it progresses. I think you'd like some of the characters.

I know, raves are pretty cool creatures.
