Description
This is a piece of jewelry that can be worn as a pin (left) or a necklace (right). It is made from silver and the focal is about 3". The bottom layer is cut sheet soldered onto a casted form that I made. The cab is a piece of dichroic glass that I formed and polished on some lapidary machines.Here are other pieces with cabs that I made and set:
Sorry about the photo on the right. Taken back in the day with a not-so-good camera. I tried to get rid of some "noise" and it made the wire a little bumpy

I love lapidary. Sometimes it's hard for me to work on the metal part because I get caught up in revealing nature's beauty. (I usually work with rocks, but the glass is an easy transition for me since I have so much of it
