Just a simple experiment so I could send something to test the new Flash category filetype restriction...There will be no more .jpegs and .gifs in Flash gallery

few ideas about the bubbles
1. have it so when a bubble is popped it pushes the other bubbles out a little, depending on the size and distance from the popped bubble.
2.possibly made it so the bubbles do not overlap more they bounce off each other
3. this is just my sillyness but have a cute little penguin or a turtle come out randomly based on how many bubbles are popped and how fast, to protect the bubbles randomly

I agree with the pushing force thingy when you pop the bubble. It was the original concept, but then it would be harder to make combo pops (which give you / will give you - I don't know which version is up / more points), but I think I will add it again, for the effect only.
The overlapping makes everything look more realistic, and the turtle, well, that's just silly! XD

of course the turtle is silly that is why i mentioned it perhaps set it so the bubbles of the same size bounce off each other while the rest move over them smothly like altitudes but not exactly

how exactly did you code it to count how many times you clicked? i can't figure it out! ><

It actually doesn't count the number of clicks, but the score. Tiny bubbles give you more points, and the big bubbles give you less. If you click on the empty space it gives you negative points (to discourage random clicking).
Also if you pop bubbles without clicking on the empty space, you build up a multiplier and gain more points.
I'm planning to make this all more obvious, soon

Wow, how cute! I loved the way the light reflected off the bubbles... but then I learned I could move the light -and- pop the bubbles!
It's complexity lies in it's simplicity. It's works like these that start to re-define what the word 'art' really means. Can't wait to see more!

Haha, I think it's 'art'. The way the bubbles look so pretty no matter where the light shines, is a talent, and a form of art to me

Cool news, about the file restrictions! I don't count how many miscat reports I filled just by looking at the file type...
Will it be retroactive? That would even cooler...
BTW, nice little programming, it took me a while to seen that reflections follow the light...

Maybe the retroactive cleaning will be carried out, but I cannot promise anything since it's not my call.
This feature is being implemented for all the categories, not only Flash. And it would be a major change to retroactively apply it.
I think that scraping everything that doesn't belong to a specific category would be ok, but it would change hundreds of thousands of user galleries and move several millions of deviations, which would result in hundreds of thousands help desk inquiries - which is not good

Indeed. Not to mention the hundred of complains in the Suggestion forum and other inappropriate places...
Lot of miscats are also copyright infringements, like game screenshots or similar, so manual sorting is probably better, even if slower and less thorough.

When you click the black spaces, it adds one to the counter at the top, however; Nicely made!
There should be a high score list for this!

Odd, it suppose to decrement your score by one. It's sort of a penalty, to prevent you from just clicking randomly on screen.
As for the highscore, I don't have any PHP enabled servers where I could host the highscore file so...
