"Do you want me to take out a gun and blow a fucking hole in your head, right here, right now?!"Even though it was quite an unusual choice for a weapon, at least for a leader of a sniper unit, the revolver was still her favourite.
Easily hidden by her coat it was something nobody would expect and more than often she had blown away someones head before he had seen it coming.
She loved the thrill of reloading her weapon during a fight, the handling of it and the sleek look. Truly a weapon made for someone like her.

I wanted a Wild West-esque doll for a longer time now and making her some wannabe cowboy with a love for torture, revolvers and dusty leather coats seemed perfect to me. I must admit that my love for Revolver Ocelot (from Metal Gear Solid) was also a reason why I made her the way she is now, including a few of his character traits.
Still need to get a few more revolvers for her so she can juggle with them too

It's a really difficult situation right now. I understand that people are angry and want to lash out, but it's really not the way to go. At the same time I don't think we should give him a big group hug and act like everything's fine just because the pictures are down now (especially since I got a mail from FB saying THEY removed the pictures, not him). I just really hope this will end quickly and he will stop doing this in future :/

I'm also very happy with the photo, especially since at first I planned to delete it because I wasn't 100% satisfied. Said to myself "oh fuck it" and edited it anyway, I'm still amazed how many people liked it.

Anyways, I think it always goes like your worst critic is you yourself and other people see the work differently 
I've tried gun poses myself too, but with not so good results I think.. After seeing this pic I want to try again if I could come up with something, as I do have some dolls that should be even a bit badass and play around with guns.. Though I have a bad habit of just dressing them in dresses or other stuff before realizing that riiight, you were supposed to be a bit less of a lady and more of an badass

I'm always happy about comments.
And yes, this is true.
I had shootings I had put so much effort, pain and time into and in the end barely got any comments, but some boring headshot or snapshot of one of my dolls got dozens of comments.
Even these two photos of Ryanne were still just medium-difficult, but people went crazy about them.
It's sad when I look at some of my photos/shootings and think "This was so much work, why do people care more about the lazy snapshots?Dx".
I know, at least from drawings, this "quick and dirty" character is something people like, that's often the reason why silly little sketches often get more views etc. than the finished picture. It's also partly because it's less intimidating, and people tend to prefer commenting on something that's at least on their level/reachable, while too perfect stuff is just too much.

She had putty in her arm and hand (and even the inside of the revolver too, because Iple has a shitty system and it always pops in half) and it took me so long to get her arm to stay up.
I actually wanted a photo of her shooting with the rifle, but that was pretty much impossible to do.
I always try to come up with cool poses, but most of my dolls are horrible at posing.

I completely agree with that XD I think my own favorites from my work are usually the ones that get the least attention, or at least it often feels that way.. But it's fun to see how different views people can have on art.
Putty and other methods of faking are the way to go with Iples, aren't they XD Especially with a thick layer of clothing it's nearly impossible to get them to move their joints... My Carmen rarely wears longer sleeves due to the tattoos on her arm, but everytime I put a leather jacket or something on her I notice how much more difficult it gets =.= Me and Sarqq just got the most awesome EID leather suits, but the dolls can't really pose while wearing them, they'll just need to stick to standing and looking awesome XD Sarqq's Shagrilah got the other suit ofc lol, I was hoping to use the other one for Carmen, but realized that the sleeves are so tight that they'd kill the tattoos right away.. Disappointing, they would've been such a great pair

Also die Basis kaufe ich, sprich die blanken Puppen (bin leider handwerklich sehr unbegabt, und modellieren war noch nie so meins), alles danach wächst quasi auf meinem Mist

Ich bemale sie selbst, bearbeite sie manchmal auch mit Schleifpapier (sprich mache die Augen größer, Nase kleiner, Brüste anders, je nachdem), und kaufe dann Kleidung, Augen und Perücke ein. Kann leider auch nicht nähen, deswegen kaufe ich das entweder oder lasse es für mich anfertigen, sprich ich mach die Zeichnung, jemand anderes näht es dann.
Joa, und wenn sie dann fertig sind soweit fotografiere ich sie.
In ihrem Fall war das etwas aufwendiger weil diese Hufen nicht zu dieser Puppe gehören, die Hufen mussten dafür erst bearbeitet werden bis ich sie an den Rest der Puppe anbringen konnte. Danach hab ich diese dann noch ge-airbrusht.

Für diese gewisse Puppe oder allgemein?
Die Idee mit einer Schachwelt hab ich zusammen mit einer Freundin gehabt (sie hat die weißen Figuren), über die Jahre hab ich dann die einzelnen Charaktere entwickelt. Das kann sich, gerade wenn man die Puppe dann hat, schon stark verändern (dieser Charakter hier hat eigentlich sehr kurze Haare, hab das noch nicht umsetzen können).

She has a serious "Who cares, I'm going to die anyway, ROCK'N'ROLL" attitude going on, else she wouldn't make so many troubles in bars and annoy people so they start a fight with her. And she also loves to play with people of any gender (I still want to take a photo of her lying in bed with many, many naked white women XD). I think these two would piss each other off constantly and the ones who have to deal with them.

She is...eternally in love with herself. Friend of mine just asked me yesterday whether she ever was in love or had a partner, dated someone etc., but nope. No time, no interest for any kind of serious bond or relationship. She has the white Rook (the Hansel) as re-occuring partner for sexy times, but that's it XD

Nooo, nooo 
She likes herself and her life and really has no urge to find a person like that. I have a few characters who deep in their heart just want someone to break open their tough shell to find the fluffy core, but not in Ryanne's case. She's very content with her life choices (she's also not one of these "tough from the outside, but actually super sad at the inside" characters) and the way she behaves, to say so.
