your picture and costume are Totaly awesome! but i do believe this is a drow. how do I know? heres a little RPG knowledge...
"drow" made popular by "Dungeons and Dragons" are a spedifique type of dark elves. living undergrownd there hair became white to reflect the light wherever it comes from, and eyes red as blood to see that said light. which enable them to see each other in the dark. drows are almost intolerent to the sun. praying to the black dragon god for they shall in live in eternal darkness grants them the ability to resist sun light whearing black dragon shaped armors.
the comon dark elves a.k.a Dumners where made popular by "The Elder scrolls" and made there debute but almost none existent in "dungeons and dragons1.5" unlike the drows,Β they live on the surface and are more tolerent to the sun. however they do like to live in darker areas where the sun can't reach most of the day. in a forest, along cliff sides or around rivers where in the summer the mist/fog will block sun rays for about half-day time. black, light grey or red of hair and light red of eyes since they do not have the necissity to see in absolut darness however can see pretty well in the night. praying to the nine and the nerevar concil in "TES" or the Raven god in "D&D 2.5"
in "The Elder Scrolls: morrowind" its depicted in a book named "history of morrowind" by Eowen Redoran that dark elves made Valendwood there home according to the red mountain...ashes flowing up would Dim sun lightΒ from 2pm to 6pm on half the island of morrowind. hope you liked this little bit of knowledge XD

I believe the drow of D&D are still technically dark elves. The name drow is just more commonly used in the series.Β

I think that first part about drow and black dragon worship varies depending on which lore and edition you're using, because honestly I've rarely run into dragon worship with drow characters. It's usually Lolth/spider worship that I've come across (but not always).
But the white hair did make me think "drow" as opposed to just some dark elf.

You didn't link a picture but I know what you're talking about, they're called driders/dryders in D&D.
