thank you^^
I can say, you're one of the people whose works inspired me to try and experiment with pattern abundance. In my own way, but really - it's so much fun, what i had been seeing as scarily meticulous before I took up courage and tried myself.

ohhhhhhhhhhhhh...yesssssss....
it's like a form of meditation as well.. gives alot of space for creating atmosphere and meanwhile pondering about the work itself - great.

Beautiful atmosphere in the picture, like always. I like the setting and the picture's description.
It really sets the mood.
Congratulations on your 100th picture!

I edited and posted it on LJ as well now - but it wasn't there initially ^^~ I decided to add a little extra to my works and offer little glimpses into what i think while I draw.
Thank you darling for the kind words! You are so sweet!

OOo davno ne videlisj^^
Thank you for the sweet comment!
I like to give the drawings in this style a certain feeling of abstractness. Thus the transition of *grounds* and various patterns and stuff. I'm so glad it works for you!

I love the attention to detail in the picture. The border of the tatamimat, the pattern of the kimono, the many folds and especially the shadow at the window with its inverted pattern of the kimono. It suggest that the person in the picture is not fully human or supernatural, maybe a ghost.
The smoke is an interesting touch too leading the eye towards the moon like window.
Overall it has a calm and a bit sad feeling to it.
Like a moment lost.
Keep the good work comming! ^^

a moment lost or a new moment found ^^
I'm glad you enjoy this, darling. I am not sure if he is human as well... but with beautiful things you never know~
Patterns are so interesting, did you notice the one on the lattice of the window? They provide a certain texture to the image and also in a way make it somewhat surreal.

I missed the ones on the lattice window. Textures are a way of improving a picture in many ways. ^^

It's so beautiful...I really like the way you're doing your pics. With black and white and just one other color...the kimono is gorgeous.
Please keep up the good work <3

thank you, darling!
Tricolor grew on me indeed and it goes well with *natural* three colors of onnagata make up.
I'm really glad you enjoy my work!
