So here is Ausani's new reference! c: I'll have his left side up shortly (I'll update this deviation). c:

Subspecies: Argentinian Transient Killer Whale
Sex: Male
DOB: 22nd June 1995 (sub-adult) (18yr)
Length: 23.3 ft
Weight: 11,600 lb
Category: Waterwork/Senior trainers only

Differentiating Characteristics
-Medium sized rake mark on left rostrum extending to lower jaw.
-Dorsal fin is completely flopped to his right side.
-Saddle patch is large and open with an 'extenstion' at the back.

Finds Aversive
-Long term separation from Vigga
-Unfamiliar staff touching him (mouth, nose, pectoral flippers, dorsal fin, fluke)

-Guests, especially children tapping or banging on the glass (this can cause Ausani to ram the glass with his head which could be fatal)
-Being ignored by trainers
-Being touched around his genital area by inexperienced staff (only senior trainers are allowed to be near him)
-Being separated from Noctis during training or feeding sessions
-Medical procedures

Behavioral Tenancies
- Mouths trainers feet.
- May grab dive gear if it agitates him (if Ausani happens to grab diving gear get out of the pool immediately as he could attack).

Behavioral Incidents
- 1998: Hit a trainer with fluke, broke the trainers’ hand.
- 2000: Bit a trainers’ hand during feeding session.
- 2003: Repetitve ramming of trainer underwater, ended in the trainer drowning after been held underwater for a period of time.
- 2009: Lunged at trainer on slide out repeatedly, during the lunging he grabbed the trainers’ leg, breaking it.
- 2012: Bit a trainers face after the trainer got too close (note: trainer was told to stay away from his face, but refused to obey, the trainer was not experienced and had never worked with Ausani (see aversive to).
- 2013: Rammed Akio in the face, blinding him in one eye.
- 2013: Whilst getting medical attention on his infected rake he got stressed out and grabbed a trainers arm, breaking it.
- 2013: Mauled Ryouko to death.

Observed Precursors
- Emits minor agressive behaviour when frustrated such as quick head movements, jaw popping, large amount of jaw snaps.
- Signs of Ausani being frustrated are extremely loud high-pitched vocalizations (almost like cries).
- Goes ‘big-eyed’ or ‘red eyed’ when very agitated.

Summary
Ausani is a captive born sexually mature male orca born at Aqualand back in 1995 at 8:15 PM to mother Mayden and father Arrow. Ausani didn't have the best start in life especially when he was born because his mother Mayden accidentally raked his face, leaving a still-visible scar on his face.

Ausani has become the proud father of seven calves, Nico at the age of 14 and Nai, Ryouko and Maito at the age of 16,two calves via AI to orcas Tempest and Suki and another calf at the age of 18 in 2014. All of these calves were conceived naturally except for the AI calves to himself and Vigga, who arrived before Ausani was born and became Ausani's 'adoptive mother' after the tragic death of his mother. Ausani has become very attached to Vigga since he first came into contact with him, the pair are inseparable. On November 6, 2013, Ausani met Ryouko for the first time, but it didn't go quite to plan. Ausani sensed that something was wrong with his seven month old calf and immediately turned on her, mauling her to death. Ausani has been separated from Vigga for the time being. In January of 2014, Vigga and Ausani were re-introduced to eachother, the pair mated and 18 months later, Vigga gave birth to a calf, a female; less than 6 months after the calf's birth, Vigga fell pregnant again and is due in September 2015.

Ausani's mother Mayden was the dominant female of AquaLand until her death in 2003 where it was taken over by Vigga who became Ausani's adoptive mother when he was 8 years old. Ausani has tensions with another male at the park named Akio, who often tries to fight other Vigga, this is how the notch in Ausani's fluke was caused and the blindness in Akio's right eye and the excessive amount of notches and rips in both his dorsal fin and his fluke, because of these tensions the three orcas are never housed together unless gates to other pools are opened.

After the birth of Ausani's 2nd calf, he became aggressive and often suffered from convulsions, worried trainers ran extensive tests on him until it was confirmed that Ausani was suffering from mild Epilepsy and Ausani was placed in the medical pool for months on end, excessive treatments were given to Ausani to control his convulsions until it was actually effective on him. Now Ausani rarely has his funny turns and has fully returned to shows and is back to his old self but can be aggressive.

Ausani is a very reliable animal but can refuse callbacks and often disrupts shows because of his behaviour. Though Ausani is a waterworks whale it is rarely used with him because of his past, the attacks may have been caused by grief from the death of his mother or he was just agitated. One time in 2013, an inexperienced trainer tried to conduct a show with both Akio and Ausani, obviously it did not work out and resulted in a huge fight between the two bulls, Ausani got very agitated and went to the far end of the pool and swam at top speed into Akio's face, blinding him in one eye.
