Thanks for applying guys! His name is.... Tidaakikai
Tidaakikai is a bull transient who lives with his mate, Shinkai. He has no preference to join a pod, as he prefers to be alone with Shinkai. (also the fact that he's overprotective of her,lol!) Tidaaki is hoping to have a calf soon, he's getting old faster, and time's running out for both him and Shinkai. He wants to name the calf Akihiko, shining prince, if its male or Annaisha, helpful guide to others, if it's a girl. He loves to eat anything, but mostly challenging things. he'll eat sharks, other dolphins, and even desceased enemy carcasses to show his power. He can be friendly, but if you get on his bad side.... your DEAD!!!! Tidaaki comes from a pod from japan, who's culture means to name each Orca with a prefix describing either him/her or the ocean, or birth with-kai, which means ocean. His mother is Enakai, "a gift from god's ocean"(not to actual translation), and his father is Daikikai,"Great Valu Ocean". Tidaakikai means Loyal, Bright Ocean.
He belongs to dolphingurl21stuff I really liked the idea of him being a Japanese Transient! Congrats on the new character : D I hope you love him!
Thanks to HaydenBliesner , JennieO-of-Hyrule64 and SeleneTheWerewolf for applying. I liked all the applications, but some I didn't think fit this character. He is a large bull with a tall dorsal and big pecs. He is either maturing in a growth spurt or already full grown. Even though I liked the applications, I couldn't get past some of the lower ages which didn't make sense for him.
If you want your application 'hidden' so no one can see it, I can do that for you Just let me know!

Okay guys, I designed this guy and even though I did fall in love with his design, I wanted to put him up for adoption!
I wanted to try some other form of adoption though, other then the regular buy with points. Not sure how this will go, but thought I would give it a shot. I hope people are interested in this! Well if not, I guess I could keep him.

You don't buy him with points, but only one person can have him. Instead of 'buying' him, you comment here with your application to have him. I personally choose who gets to keep him based on which application I like best. This is all fun so I hope no one is offended if they don't get chosen as the winner.
The 'application' will simply be something similar to a biography for him.
I need to know his name! His age! I need to know a little something about him. Tell me who this character is. You don't need to write a lot, I just want a little something to know who he is. You could even incorporate him into your own pod if you like and give him a family. The one I like best will win!
I will leave the adoption up for a week and decide who gets him at the end. Hopefully a few people are interested, I just thought it would be kind of a cool idea.
If you don't win him, you can keep the ideas you came up with for your own application. Maybe use your name and other ideas you came up with and perhaps draw yourself a new character if you want

I'll admit the reason I had him at 15 was because I felt it would be the best years of his life. If I hadn't been so busy with my other characters. I'd have put more effort into my plan for Neah. I wanted a more normal design for him, and I am no good at coming up with designs on my own

I can help you design a character if you want? I think the easiest way to come up with 'normal' designs is just looking at heaps of orca photos! I notice the eyepatches and saddles, the little notches and spots and marks. I also look at body shape! I just choose bits I like and get ideas for a character from them.

Sure. We can discuss it on notes so we don't spam this page. Seeing as how male orca's live into their 50's or 60's. He would have quite a life ahead of him. Although I am wondering if I should start with him as a newborn and work from there. It allows for the greatest detail in character development as opposed to jumping into a character that is already sexually mature.

History: Howah was born to an Outrider mother and he never knew his Father. From the day he gained his Soul Stone, he was different. Just like many dolphins before him they were gifted, his gift was having an affiliation to other small animals. He could speak in the same song as the fish that swam past them and birds that flew in the sky. Whenever his mother found a pond to temporary be in, all the other calves saw him strange and he was mostly shunned. He found friends with crabs and rays. His mother is his only companion, but even he thought she might see him as a little strange. When his mother became pregnant with his new sibling she spent more time with the new calf than with him. It was time for him to start his own adventure..

Name: 'Kumori' 曇り (Japanese for 'Cloudy')
Age: 6
Personality: Playful, curious of the guests at the window and toys, and energetic
Orca Type: Off Shore Pacific
History: He was born to a very small pod of orcas that lived off the Shores of California. During the grey whale's migration from Baja California to Alaska with their new born calves in tow, Kumori followed his mother as she and the pod hunted down a mother grey whale with her calf. In a tragic turn of events, the 'devilfish' mother grey whale had managed to fend off the attackers from her baby by giving a solid whack of her tail against the orcas but dealt the fatal blow on Kumori's mother, causing the orca to bleed internally from her ruptured organs and die. The distraught calf refused to follow the family pod despite their attempts in separating him from his mother, so eventually the pod left Kumori to float away to a beach with his mother where he became stranded on the beach in the early morning before the sun rose. Sea Life rescuers pulled him off the beach and after stabilizing the calf a week later to ensure he would survive the flight, flew him to Aquarius, an aquarium park in Vancouver to be raised with other orcas.
However, one of Aquarius' killer whales gave birth to twins a year later since Kumori's arrival to the park and because of how limited the park's orca habitat size was and how young Kumori was to be released back into the wild since none of the biologists could locate his family pod, it was decided he would be flown across the sea to a new aquarium that was opened in the Aomori prefecture of Japan by Aquarius, a park that specializes in caring for orcas with special needs and rejected or rescued orcas that can no longer return to the wild. There Kumori met the 7 resident orcas that live in the park and bonded quickly with the gentle and caring matriarch Maushou and the rambunctious one-eyed Masamune, even developing his curiosity towards the trainers due to Masamune’s constant interaction with playing with the orca trainers. Currently, he is the youngest calf next to Dichotomy and follows her around and engages in games she and Masamune would invent when they were not interacting with the public.

History: Born into H-pod. Neah has been the friendliest whale in the four pods. and is often seen approaching boats alone or socializing with members of J and L Pods.
Lame application. I do tend to prefer working over time on something such as this. so if you do not mind. May I add to this application the the week. I have never been able to write something out in one sitting.

In your bio you have that he is 'getting old faster' and time is running out for him to have a calf, but you have his age as 15. You don't have to, but I would raise his age a little : D Male orcas live on average 30 years, so if he were in his late 20's or 30's it might match what you have written in his bio more.
