Description NGE fanart. I’d always wanted to draw one.

I started this picture few months ago, had a long break, and finished today. The worst part was looking for the references (especially for the plugsuit) – there are at least three official versions of Rei and some of the images were contradicting the others.

Many thanks to wonderful *Anyarr for motivating me to finally finish this piece. If not for her, it would probably stay unfinished forever.

i didn't wanna right a critique on this 'cause well is more of a suggestion. i feel like you need to add more highlights to make her pop away from the background. ..other than that i really love this piece and i'm glad you made her realistic rather than anime like.

I just rewatched NGE again only in the last couple of days So it's very pleasing to come across such a wonderful fanart of Rei. You've done a good job making her still look like Rei but added a very realistic appeatance. I especially like the mouth and the shading on the plug suit.

i aboslutely love your coloring, especially on her clothes, the way you added tints of green and purple makes it really nice
