Looks pretty cool.
You were not on a ship?
It reminds me of the show.
I think they cancelled "Threshold", its been a while since it was on.
Too bad I liked it.

Yeah its a bit passe but no one else is doing stuff like this.
"Invasion" is the closest.

theres also a new series starting here called 'supernatural'... sorta the same thing, except the zombies are ghosts...?

There was a series called "Strange world" on cable that was almost a direct descendant of X files.
Instead of the FBI, it was an Army outfit tasked with keeping an eye on rogue corporations. There was a paper published by a well know head of a software company about the new threats to humanity. In the 50s it was nuclear but now its Biotech, Nanotech and Robotics. Back then the bad stuff was in the hands of govt/military labs and they have security guidelines. Now potentially destructive tech is in the hands of profit hungry companies and thats not good. We know that companies will cut corners to get products to market and or not spend as much time researching side effects. Wish I remembered more details, maybe you can do a google search on "Grey goo" (Nanotech). Anyway, the series is sort of a clone, they even had x files like music. X files had some great piano work.
Supernatural is really a decendant of the Big Daddy, "The Night Stalker". The two brothers do not have official support and they have to sleaze/scheme their way to finding out whats going on. X files did sci fi and supernatural stuff, Supernatural just does supernatural. So far they have good stories. Would like to see them really crank up the weirdness.
They actually had a new version of "The Night Stalker" and some of the stories were pretty good but it seems to not be too popular. Too bad about "Threshold", they definitely had the weirdness factor and a decent cast of chars. Reminds me of the game Xcom, the first one.
By the way, the smoking man was in an episode of Supernatural.
The one titled "Scarecrow".

Old or New Outer limits?
Saw them both, the new Outer limits is a bit more nastier.
The original "Night Stalker" is about a reporter who manages to
stumble across all sorts of weird stuff. He is no knight but he gets the job done.
Sometimes they have marathons on the sci fi channel.
Watched all the weird stuff, Buffy the vampire slayer, Angel, Charmed, Poltergeist: the legacy and Dark angel.

Saw the last buffy episode and this is Charmed's last year.
Hopefully I will get to watch it.
