Nocturne is an horror game set in the 30ies, you are an monster killer,and you have 4 missions set in various parts of the world.
from the autors of nocturne there is also the bloodrayne series and ghostbusters!

Nocturne is my top PC game ever. A very intriguing survival-horror title that shocks & awes. Nocturne II should come around at least 2013, but who will voice Stranger? The original voice actor, Lynn Mathis, died in 2003 and his last voice-acting performance was BloodRayne. Who could possibly replace him?

I have no news about an Nocturne 2 in production... Terminal Reality now is stuck with a "the walking dead" fps with activision and until now they worked at the ridiculous Star Wars Kinect...
Nocturne 2 was started in 2000 but became bloodrayne around 2001, originally Rayne was Svetlana, but the two series are mostly connected: Castle Gaustadt and both game show the same beast vampire creature...
also both universe have the Daemites...
also the first epiode of bloodrayne seems right out from nocturne...
I would love to have a good Nocturne 2.
