So i'm new to the saltshaker family.

I absolutely adore Jackie and her content, and it's a real shame that I joined her community on the cusp of its potential destruction.

I drew this image to try and help bring attention to something that many people may not even know, regarding Youtube.

Youtube, in compliance with the COPPA and FTC, will be changing their regulations on content that is considered "family friendly" or "targeted towards children".

The issue is that these new rules will prevent good hardworking individuals from being able to make a profit off their videos. At the moment the rules are so vague and nebulous that it is unclear how many people it will affect, and what content will be placed into the "for children" section of Youtube. However what is know is that many people in the arts and crafts community on Youtube will be affected.

My concern, other than this hurting people whose channel I watch and whose content I enjoy, is that this will harm even further what is left of the animation community on Youtube.

I will admit I don't know everything about this situation, and do not fully understand it myself.

Please if you can, do research on the matter and check out the petition. ( Don't be like me. )

You don't have to agree with what she says or the angle she is going with, but keep an open mind about how this will affect Youtube's future.

I personally find the titles and thumbnail on the videos a bit click-baity, but, that's just me.
