I agree with WhispersBetteNoir.
I don't know wether it is to sketchy or not.. The amount on detail in a picture depends from what distance it is supposed to look at. (Imagine me look close at it and from a bit distance xD)
I'd say the head is a bit rough. But at the same time I like how it smoothes out the closer you get to the bottom.
The forehead area bother me a bit. Think a bit more hair and less shadow would have been better.
I really like you shading and colour choice on this one. You know which tones to combine.
All in all a self-contained piece with a mysteroius and calm atmosphere

Yes, it's supposed to be sketchy. Actually, I was doodling it and after all those applied effects and things, it got kinda pretty so I decided to upload it here xd

This is very minimalistic. I really like how you used a limited pallet without it feeling lazy. I kind of like the sort of sketchy icicles that make up his clock, and the mix of navy, purple, grey, and all those other little colors in them. The way is face is shaded is interesting. Covering his eyes makes him look mysterious, and I also like how you shaded the side of his face.Β
The suggestion of snow at the top of the page is very restful.Β
I'm struggling to find something to critique, other than it looks sketchy and more like a rough draft, although that seems to be intentional.Β

I like throwing as much colour as possible in artworks, but this one has to be mostly blue, so the other colours are pale and very soft.
Glad this piece gives you a peaceful feeling. The gently falling snow is better than a snowstorm, isn't it?
You don't have to deliberately find something to critisise if you can't find anything. It's nice enough knowing your impression towards the piece. Thanks again!

I am unsure if this is meant to be a more primitive or darker rendition of Jack Frost or if it is a separate character entirely, but I do know that I am very impressed. I know when I think about how people can die in cold climates we have things like frostbite, hypothermia and of course the big chill and this character Icicle Jack seems to have the essence of the big chill about him.Β
We don't' see much of the character in ways of expression, his body is covered in jagged ice and his eyes are equally concealed but the expressions we can see gives us a sense of anguish, which leads me back to my original thought of death by cold. It's quite haunting in that regard and certainly sends a chill down my spine (no pun intended) but that doesn't deter me in the least. I am always fascinated by dark and mysterious characters and this fellow seems to check all the right boxes for me. He has that cold, twisted tormented feel and I'd love to know more, good show.

I love the chilly aura this guy carries around him too. You're interpretation is very detailed and thoughtful! I hadn't thought about this design relating to the theme death.
