So, where to begin...
The background looks really amazing, I can imagine it took you a while to get all the light and shadows correct, while remembering to include those nice cracks in the walls. While most of my commentary is going to be about the characters themselves, it's great to see you still have a great instinct for landscapes Zoe.
It's fitting that Mettalix is the done to start spreading the infection since in Sonic 4 he wound finding purple energy in an artifact hidden in some ruins. That was less erotic than this, naturally.
But moving on...While I feel a little odd talking so, er, pervy after a long while, I like how everyone's anatomy gives off a bit of subtle erotic allure, in a way that gets around this site's weird restrictions on Mobians. Mainly I mean that while the characters aren't wearing really strange outfits or anything, the process of being turned into techno zombies makes their own bodies come off as a sort of bondange, and the attention to detail in the way their bodies are drawn helps enhance that feeling. Especially with Tikal and Blaze...I can really get a feeling for their curves.
Blaze, as the victim whose conversion is in progress, feels like the centerpiece of the drawing in a way I can really relate to...I'm not sure if it was intentional, but she feels like the character I can most easily self insert into while imagining this peril situation happening. There's an obvious horror in the way she holds her face and leaves her mouth agape while her eyes slowly shift to the mechanical grid, and yet there feels as if she's feeling an unwanted pleasure as her will fades away...I'd say it's something about her face, something that suggests to me that a blush on her cheeks wouldn't be out of place despite- or maybe because of?- how scared she is. ^^
I also noticed that you redesigned Blaze a little, and I quite like it. Changing her pants from white to a shade of blue stands out a bit more, and something about the way you drew said pants really defines the figure of her lower body. I also really like how you took her original jacket, which looks a little like a dress, and made it into a full on elegant dress with a nice little v-neck opening to...well, show off her cleavage, heh. Although Blaze is wearing the most clothes, she comes across as the most alluring visually due to how those clothes are wrapped around her.
Visual erotic implications aren't worth as much without mental and emotional changes though, and Blaze here really fufills a fantasy of mine of being last poor person in the room to get assimilated. I already went into detail about it, but I can't stress enough how much I love her "What's...happening...to...me..." face.
I also really like how the yellow lines of the grid eyes seem to glow even though you didn't use any digital colouring. You're quite the expert at traditional shading.
It looks like it won't be long until everyone is eventually cured of being slaves to the Rakata within the mind prison. XD I had a strange idea, though. Don't know if it's workable, but I had this notion that the Imprisoned One would try to be more subtle after the initial assimilations, charging Blaze and Tikal as priestesses/propaganda ministers who would lure the gullible into his clutches while Metallix was off sneaking around and doing more direct conversions. I was thinking that this very image you drew would be the "cult initiation" advert..."This could happen to you!"

Hail the Queen of Feedback
Yeah, this was fun to do... though it would have been better (and easier to include a more detailed background) at A4 scale than A5
As I haven't played Sonic 4, I had no idea that Metallix had gained such ability in the games. Another of those happy accidents
Perviness never gets old
The biggest restriction issue with Mobians is when some of them ([cough]Amy[cough]) have such a wide variation of ages in the different media
It's fun to do things like this, especially if you can really get into thinking about it as you have
I wasn't intending to make Blaze the centrepiece, and originally I had intended for Metallix to be converting Blaze and Tikal at the same time, with no-one else in view, though as you can see, the picture evolved
I'm glad the in-progress conversion works so well, and I'm not at all surprised that it appeals to you the most
As for the re-design, I didn't have any references on hand for Blaze and Tikal's "normal" outfits so I worked half from memory and half from improvisation
My traditional art skills can't take all the credit for the eyes. Because of the smaller scale I was working at, I had to do a bit more in post-production to fix them again.
Apart from destroying the Mind Prison, what could Mobians hope to do against the Imprisoned One? Assuming that everything is working and the same as in SWtOR, there are twin fabricators offscreen that can make droids, including Metallixes, in seconds. That puts the odds seriously against Sonic... of course, we know that he enjoys the challenge more
I do like this greater subtlety plan though
Thank you for such long and insightful feedback
I have missed you
All hail the Queen of Feedback

Yeah, fun to have happy accidents like that. ^^ And to always have perviness.
Heh heh. Hopefully scaling issues won't be too difficult in the future. ^^
Yeah, poor Amy and her fluctuating age. XD;
I'm glad I could offer a lot of thoughts, and I'm really happy with the way picture evolved. ^^ It's also great that you aren't surprised that I'm into in process conversion stuff. Again, you did a great job with Blaze being in mid-change.
The post-production work fits really seamlessly with everything else, so I'd say you did really well with patching things up.
I'm glad you like the idea of more subtlety. ^^ Though, I also agree that the logistics of the plan need more work. XD Naturally with the Mobians lacking enough mystical power to stop an infinite army, there would be a need for much planning at first. This miiiiight be a little too complicated, but I wound up having an idea of how things might go. XD
So, Sonic(Being the thrill seeker we know he is. ) is able to take on the army and fend it off with his speed and agility until the Senshi get there, destroying the Mind Prison and healing the tech zombies.
From there, maybe the Imprisoned One makes one last ditch effort by copying his mind deep into Blaze's subconscious right before the Mind Prison's destruction. Eventually, after some days have passed, Blaze is possessed, but not totally overwhelmed since the copy of the Rakatan's mind is weaker than before, resulting in a merged consciousness that mixes some of the Rakatan ruthlessness with Blaze's compassion. The Blaze/Imprisoned One hybrid disappears from public view for a time, subtly starting a cult since she can't convert others without close physical contact. Eventually she's healed and restored to normal with the rest of her thralls, but maybe she's crafty enough to keep things going for a few weeks, maybe even months.XD
That was a mouthful. But at any rate, I'm glad you're happy to hear more from me Zoe. And I hope to have lots more to say in the near future. ^^

All we need to stop metal sonic is a long straight line for a race ending with a large metal door which he'll crash in to.
Looks nice though Zoe

Imprisoned One? The confined form of the Demon King Demise from Zelda Skyward Sword?

Most of the guys in the various Mind Trap Prisons have been in them so long that they've forgotten their names.

He's supposedly the main villain and is the Usurper King of the Twili race. He may seem calm and collected, but it's merely a facade for his true personality: A raving lunatic.
