Especially the bit where Jack used to be the shortest, then the tallest, amongst the four.

I love this soooo much!
I can see them in all four houses.
I can see Jack being in Slytherin and being one of the few who are nice, (Not that Slytherin is bad, they just have a history with spiting out bad people) Or him in Gryffindor as a Harry Potter like charterer, Or a Hufflepuff for his loyalty to the Guardians.
I see Merida in Gryffindor (obviously) and I can see her in Slytherin (Just a little bit.)
Hiccup I see as a Ravenclaw for his book smarts, Hufflepuff for his desire for fairness and loyalty to Toothless, or a Gryffindor for his Bravery. (Hello! He fought a dragon that was the size of a Skyscraper!)
And Rapunzel I see as A Hufflepuff for her kindness and hard work (She has a whole sequence where she is doing chores and she dose that every. Day.), A Ravenclaw for her yearning for the knowledge that the wold has to offer, Or a Gryffindor she stood up to Gothol (Did I spell that right?) and Seems to have no fear of heights.
Finally, I can see them ALL in Gryffindor.

And why all the haters on the House choices? They make perfect sense to me...
Only thing I'd say is I see Jack as Harry Potter. Like, he could be in Gryffindor if he wanted to, but has Slytherin qualities.

Thanks for your enthusiasm! He does, actually! Jack, I mean. He does have both house qualities. But you know, people just like to push their opinions on others. Maybe they think with enough nudging they can get artists to draw what they want.

yeah okay hiccup is really smart and all but you dont have to be in ravenclaw for that, i mean look at cedric diggory who was incredibly smart but was a hufflepuff... he reminds me so much of hiccup! but i honestly love this so much and i love the fact rapunzel's hair changes to her short brown style, its awesome!!

And Hermione could have obviously been put in Ravenclaw but she was put in Gryffindor, and Luna seemed like a stupid-crazy girl to most people but she was deep down really smart and put in Ravenckaw. I think it's more about the heart than the perspective ( does that make sense because I'm not sure XD )

I love Merida in Gryffindor and Jack in Slytherin, but Hiccup and Rapunzel could really go either way. Like I could also see both of them in Gryffindor they didn't stop to think about the consequences of their choices (cause let's face it, Gyffindor's are always rushing in without thinking!

Haha, yeah. What I don't understand is them telling me that I'm wrong! There are plenty of fanart out there that puts Hic and Punzie in different houses. If you don't like the house placement, keep it to yourself! Just appreciate the art without the need to say "I think you put them in the wrong house.."

I actually like the fresh take on which houses go with which character. I think loyalty fits well with Hiccup, and it's always good to go against the crowd if you feel that strongly about something. What I wonder is, not that I'm complaining, but why doesn't anyone ever put them all in the same house? I know it is probably because their personalities are so different, but I think, if you were to write a story about them or something, that it would give their friendship more room to grow. Food for thought. Ignore me, I'm rambling. Anyway, love the sketch!

no, but you didn't need to list it out :/ I'm really, really sorry if I seem grumpy about it, but I've been answering to a lot of these comments that feel the need to tell me that Rapunzel = Hufflepuff or Hiccup = Ravenclaw. When you're repeatedly being told that people don't think your house placement has merit, you start feeling a little chafed by opinions being thrown at you when you didn't ask for it..

you're possibly the 100th person to ask me such a thing with the same reasoning. Whats wrong with Hufflepuff? They take in the all-rounders. I think Hic has great potential there, he's not limited to his inventions. Y'all are forgetting about Cedric Diggory. He's smart as well. He's in Hufflepuff.
I actually do have a very detailed explanation why I put Hiccup where he is, as well as Rapunzel, but I'll only link it if you're actually interested. Sorry if this sounds a little snappish, but its getting very tiring for me to keep having to explain my art choices.
