Well this is new. Well not really, people who follow me from the beginning are used to my style/theme switching by now.
I've started to dabble in Fantasy again a bit late in my life. Last time I dabbled in it was, like, 15 years ago. So I decided to make a warrior, champion, whatever you call it. Turned out nice. This was made in BlackInk as a sketch, then Photoshop, then Mischief where most of work is done, than Photoshop again to wrap up. I was really all over the place.
I hope you like it, feel free to add it to groups, I am really not a member of any fantasy groups, maybe a few. Also, I'll make a print available here on dA.

How do you save in mischief keeping the good quality of the pic?

I save it in its original format, of course, then export a hi res PNG, which I import as a linked or embedded smart object in Photoshop and do the final cropping, resizing, filling in some holes and sharpening if needed, then saving in smaller sizes. Mostly Photoshop resamples the image and sharpens it by itself when you downsize it for web.

which dimensions do you use for 'hi res png', if i might ask? i have no idea about the photoshop part, because i don't really use it :b

Sometimes up to 10,000 px for the larger dimension, mostly about 7-8000px because my home PC can't handle big files well and PSD files get overly large. If I don't plan on getting work done further in PS and just want some fixing contrast/curves/color, any size is OK if the PC handles it. If it's bigger, I stick to JPG because my PC can't handle PNG's bigger than 8000px sometimes.
It really depends on needs, this one was 5300px high, which allows me A3 printing.

so you saved it directly from mischief as 5300px high? do you change the resolution from 72 as well?

I tend to crop and maybe rotate it a degree or two in Photoshop so I export it to the approximate size I need. And yeah, I change the res, even though you can do it in Photoshop, but I change it anyway, to 144 or 300, whatever I need.

He looks like a hybrid combination between Hack and slash and "strategy" type..
..as his only strategy is just to walk up slowly to the target while under rain of arrows and then chop it to pieces lol
