Description WOW AM I JUMPING ON THIS FANWAGON LATE. 8D;;;;

This is Philip, from Penumbra, who has just used the Almighty Power of NSYNC to distract a Tuurngait, so he can sneak past.

Now don't you wish you had THAT in the game.

That game is much better than Amnesia. As a whole. Amnesia has a better atmosphere but gets pretty chaotic and amateur by the end of it.

Ultimately, I love both games. What Amnesia lacks in overall gameplay, it makes up for in atmosphere where Penumbra: Overture fell a bit short. I think both of them are equal in enjoyability, just in different ways. :3

And now incoming: EPIC. WALL. OF. TEXT!

I don't know, my problem about Amnesia was the story. It took such a disappointing turn at the end. Like they ran out of time and had to finish it fast. Also the millions of side-stories which they started, but never continued.
I loved the initiation of a deeper storyline, but they tried too hard IMO.

The Penumbra series on the other hand kept it at a minimum, just like the character animations, so they wouldn't fall that big. It worked, that minimalistic behaviour had an awesome Lovecraftian not-knowing-what-the-hell-is-going-on effect on the game.

Still love Frictional Games. <3
