Personality:

Cassidy is, by lack of better words, extremely sceptical and sarcastic on the outside. Taking a second take at pretty much everything he looks at, there's not many things in this world that will (visibly) phase him. Usually keeping his composure well and contained, he's eager to learn, but doesn't have the patience to listen to your ramblings if he's not in the mood.

Aside this he's not inconsiderate or rude as one might expect. When the yamask gets to it, he's surprisingly caring in his own weird way and will go out of his way to fulfill any promises he's made. Getting him to make them is the hard part. If you happen to befriend him he's not that outgoing-- he prefers a good book or a select small company of people to large crowds or loud gatherings.

When he's happy, he'll tell you and you might see a smile. Just don't assume he's mad at you if he's frowning... That's something that comes out naturally.

History:

Born in Mistralton City, Cassidy spent his early childhood days pestering his parents, and later on his younger brother Mallory. His mother an air force fighter pilot and his father flying at a unovan airline company, they were busy people. Being passed around by relatives and friends was something Cassidy grew used to at a young age. He couldn't deny missing them a lot, but the time they spent home was enough for him to make up for it. After all, as they put it, they were doing it for the sake of the family. Always eager to play soccer with the neighborhood children or his father whenever he was home to pass time, he grew up a pretty balanced kid and entered school with not many problems or rivals. Keeping grades up wasn't hard for him- Keeping some of the jealous classmates and their snarky remarks about his intelligence off his mind was, but the ghost prevailed.

At a point, problems with his younger brother started arising and devoted to his family as he was, Cassidy tried his best to fix the issues. However, it proved to be a larger task than he'd expected and soon he had to choose between managing his own learning, or spending his time trying to talk his brother out of trouble and fights. After a while, he gave up and picked up the books.

As he entered his teenage years Cassidy delved deeper into trying to juggle straight grades, hobbies and the mandatory training and socializing his mother was insisting on putting him through. Slowly freetime was dropped out of the equation and he started seeing his friends less and less often, up to the point where his parents started wondering if it was just being a teen that was playing its tricks or something else on the boy's mind keeping him glued to the books and in the house. As trouble with the younger brother didn't stop, the well-behaving one was left to his own devices. If you got him to tell you the truth, he'd admit it felt bad when his parents stopped checking on him. But he had his training, his grades and his future. As long as he had those he'd have something to focus on.

Upon entering the community college right after his brother was finally pulled out of school and transferred out of region, he felt somewhat lonely. And bored. As friendly as the community in Mistralton was, Cassidy didn't feel like the school was able to provide the education he was prepared for. After a long semester of talking, asking and pleading, he got his parents to reconsider. As the experience in St Mortiel with his brother had been positive, the family started looking into the newly formed Desta College. Research was done, decisions were made and Cassidy assured his parents this would be better for both him and them in the long run.

He'd get what he wanted out of the school, and just maybe, his parents wouldn't have to worry about their children as much.
