I've been looking at this group since it opened but never joined lmao because i'm slOW. So I'm joining with my bby Prometheus because he gets no love and fits in perfectly....

    A species akin to demon, strife live and thrive off of a given source of misery and death. They gain their power from a single source, and will persists as long as that cause of death continues. They can be killed, and if they are they will simply reform sometime later, sometimes as a different individual. Their appearance has little in common with each other besides line-like markings, lip-less mouths and eyelid-less eyes.
    In Prometheus's case, he thrives on hunger. So as long as there is hunger in the world, he will continue to exist (as long as he isn't slain).

    Prometheus is a rather upbeat individual. He's been around long enough to stop really caring and worrying about things. He enjoys a simple lifestyle, and does try his best not to bothers other. Because of that, it's hard to motivate him to do things and he spends most of his time lazying around. He understands the transient nature of many of the things around him, and perhaps out of bitterness he can be quick to push people away for him. He has a bad habit of taking advantage of people's hospitality.

■ Background:
Prometheus does not know where he came from, or how, or when. One moment he did not exist, the next he did. A creature surviving on the suffering of others, destined to live as long as mortals starved. Needless to say, most did not take well to him. Prometheus spent the first good portion of his long life angry at the world, believing that he was going to suffer forever and life was a horrible thing. But eventually, Prometheus mellowed out of his edgy phase and began to just not care. There was no point in lamenting over his situation, since it would never improve or change. He decided instead to move on and make due with what he was given.
Prometheus learned how to cast illusions so he could blend in with human society, moving on when people got too suspicious or he grew bored of his current location. As such, this lead him to a small motor home community in Texas, where he procured a motor home of a deceased woman under the guise of her grandson. Life went on, and Prometheus pretended to care for the long-since deceased woman. He met a girl. They fell in love. She died young.
And Prometheus decided it was time to move again.

Prometheus cannot eat food or drink unless he is explicitly offered it.
He will eat literally anything he can get his hands on, and will continue eating your food as long as you allow him to.
No amount of food will sate his appetite.
His illusion is just a illusion, meaning it has no actual substance to itself. Prometheus has to work hard to line his arms up with his illusion, causing objects to float out of his illusion's hands sometimes or for things to be hit that his illusion did not touch.
As such, he avoids contacts with others with his illusion.
Anything faster then a walk will cause him to have to run on his knuckles.
He has no eyelids or lips, and uses his ears for the bulk of his physical expressions.
His tail totes a stinger that can paralyze a human being.
The eye on his chest does have an eyelid, and Prometheus is still not sure why it's there.
Prometheus stands at 9'02", while his illusion stands at 6'02"
