Edit: Sorry for adding the crummy watermark, guys! It's been brought to my attention that someone stole the design and put it up on a t-shirt site. 
Wow, not really sure I've ever drawn fanart of an unreleased game before, but I sure haven't done it the same day it was announced!
This game didn't get me the most hyped from E3, but damnit I just love the art design of Splatoon so much I felt compelled to draw one of the little buggers~
edit: Oh hey, new stuff showed up on the net today! Added in the game's logo and gave her tentacles its spots that I didn't notice from the low res screenshots I was working from.
edit2: Reuploaded a new version with a flesh colored underside of the tentacle after frozenpandaman

I played for a good while back when it came out but eventually stopped when other games came out. I'm pretty hyped for Splatoon 2 on the switch though!... just gotta make sure Nintendo's online service is going to be worth paying for before I buy an online-focused game like Splatoon...

Actually had a horrid time trying to find multiplayer games in Assassins Creed 3, so its kind of a legit worry I have. But at least Mario Kart 8's selling some freaking Wii U's...

One of the biggest surprises of E3 as far as I'm concerned. And I was just wondering what a Nintendo multiplayer shooter would be like, if they ever made one. Paintjob shapeshifting squids weren't even close to anything I would've expected, and I'm freaking loving it.
This captures the game's style amazingly. Great job, especially considering you didn't even wait a single day for this one!

Yeah, I definitely wasn't expecting a Wii U shooting game, much less one with a wonderful art style and a neat twist on the usual gameplay. Definitely looking forward to getting my hands on it!
And thanks! Though I've had to fix a number of things as actual high-res screenshots have been released, but at least vector stuff is pretty easy to edit
