While I personally have no interest in shooters, my Nintendo tool-ness shines on as I anticipate this games' release. Guess I'm just a sucker for games with fun, colorful, cute characters and silly atmospheres. Anyway, here's the poster-girl of Splatoon, the orange Inkling. The game comes out in about a day, so everybody, you can finally cool your hype. Anybody else get that "radical 90's toys" vibe from this game's designs?Here's some other stuff I've whipped up recently:

The characters have cute character designs.
The picture can use some shading to create more polished coloring.
Shadows reacting to clear light sources will improve the coloring significantly.
The eyes can also use a bit more shine since actual eyes will reflect light like a dull mirror.
Great character designs, love the poses and expressive faces.
Just do more experimentation with your coloring, shading, shadows and lights.
I noticed a few small shadows in the picture for the squid hair style, gun and giant paint brush.
Your picture can use a bit of improvement in terms of coloring but they are only small changes.
These small future improvements will help you to create more polished images.

Ok, so first things first.
This art piece is extemely poppish, and actually got me to click on it rather than all of the other drawings on my watchfeed! That's an amazing accomplishment that can make any artist jealous!
The style used here is very eyecatching! The sharp lines, the varied anatomy, the bright colors, and textures add to something that is just visually pleasing to look at, as well as interesting so it makes me want to stare at it all day!
The expressions are on point! If I didn't know Splatoon existed, I would've thought you were pitching a tv show.
I rated the originality a bit low since it's just the inkling doing various actions. But other than that, this piece is incredible to look at, and you just earned yourself a new watcher!!
