Description Ontario and Quebec in 1801.

Upper Canada was born 1791. Quebec - then called Lower Canada - adopted him as her little brother. However, as he grew up, they grew apart. Upper was a pioneer and was loyal to the British Empire, where as his older sister Lower (Quebec) tried to stay true to her French heritage.
In 1796, Upper's capital changed from Newark (Niagra-on-the-Lake) to York (Toronto). In his youth, First Nations people (such as Ojibwe, Iroquois, and Mohawk) used to tell him scary stories about Windigo who lived in his region. As a result, this somewhat traumatized him to now have a fear of vampires, zombies and cannibals. The Polish settlers in Wilno did not help with this either as they brought Vampire lore with them from Poland. Despite growing up with close relations with the American states in the south, he was still loyal to Britain and as a teenager he fought in the War of 1812 against his southern neighbours. However, afterwards he went back to being friends with them again.
Up until the 1830s, he had been a complete mama's boy to Britain, but eventually the Americans and his older sister began to have influence on him. In 1837, he entered into a rebellious phase in his teenaged years where he began to defy his parents (his parents being the British) just like the Patriot's War (the Lower Canada Rebellion) his sister Quebec had in 1832. Upper Canada found himself in a dilemma between the Loyalists and the Republic of Canada. By 1838 the Loyalists won, but Upper's rebellious american attitude somewhat remained.
In 1841, Upper Canada and Lower Canada got married and together formed the Province of Canada. On July first 1867, they separated when the two of them (along with New Brunswick and Nova Scotia) came together to form the nation of Canada.
