another sculpture! I've been making a lot of these lately (I have more but I haven't taken the pictures yet) There are way too many sculptures piled up in my room so if anyone's interested in buying any, note me.This one has been sold.

This is sooo kewl. I'm still in high school and doing a project in making a sculpture, I'm thinking a dragon, so I'm just looking for inspiration. Still It is soo awesome

Just wondering, some of your sculptures look big and i dont see many places that you thinned it out. How do your clay sculptures not explode in a kiln? because at my school things love to blow.

my art teacher actually told me that you just ca't trap air in it. so to solve the problem, I usually poke little holes in the sculpture to lower the chances... another way is to be really careful not to trap air. i guess yuumei made the body solid, maybe, so there wouldnt be any trapped air?

wow... where do you reference so many dragons from theyre anatomically possibly unlike most peoples perceptions of dragons they draw flying or walking without thinking if its actually possible for a wing that size and its joints to flap... your work is A.W.E.S.O.M.E ^_^

Do you just sculpt them then carve the center or do you make them with coils?

looks like it could hold a really beautiful crystal in its claws. I'd go with a contrasting color like ruby quartz.
