I also find it funny that the hole in the door Rainbow was looking through was shaped like a heart. Great picture I ship this because Rainbow is the only other perfect match for Pinkie other than discord.

Rainbow Dash approached Pinkie's bedroom door and turned the doorknob; creaking softly as it opened. What she saw in front of her wrenched her heart; Pinkie sat in the middle in of her dark bedroom, her usual bright pink poofy mane was now a low contrasting pink, completely straight that dangled lifelessly from her head. Her tail, also the same color as her mane, sprawled flat against the cold bare wooden floor while tears trickled down her cheeks; each combining together to form droplets of tears that dripped from her cheeks each splattering slightly as it made contact with the ground beneath her.

Pinkie Pie was oblivious to the hooves steps that were getting louder and louder as Rainbow Dash approached her.

I am glad that Mrs. Cake informed me about this before Pinkie could do something stupid out of that nightmare of hers, but that nightmare of hers certainly has gotten the best out of her, but I am here to fix it once and for all...

"Pinkie...?" A soft yet familiar voice filled the silence in the cold still air.

She opened her eyes slightly as she heard the faint, yet familiar voice, blinded by her own tears, she saw a lone cyan figure stood in front of her. "Dashie, is that you Dashie...?"

"Yes, it's me Pinkie..."

"I didn't kill you right Dashie...?” She shook her head repeatedly as she tried hard not to believe that she killed her. “I didn't kill you..."

The cyan Pegasus mare gingerly wrapped her foreleg around the pink Earth Pony mare as she pulled her close; nuzzling her slightly and closed her eyes. "No, you didn't kill me Pinkie, I am still here..."

"But, it seems so real, I killed you..." She sobbed as one of her forelegs rose up from the ground and held on tightly onto the foreleg that snaked around her while her tears trickled downwards; soaking Rainbow Dash’s foreleg.

"It's just a nightmare Pinkie... No matter how real your nightmare looked like, it’s not real..."

"I don't even hate you Dashie, I love you Dashie... Why did I even have a nightmare about me killing you in the first place?"

"I don't know why we do have nightmares and dreams and we can't control it, but I certainly know that it isn't real and I love you too Pinkie, I always have..." She cooed gently as she gave a tender peck on Pinkie’s cheek and nuzzled her gingerly; waiting patiently for her sobs to slowly reduce, soon, turned into faint hiccups, and eventually ceased.

"I am sorry so Dashie..."

"Sorry for what?"

"For me having the nightmare of me killing you and for me troubling you because of this."

"There's nothing to forgive Pinkie, it's just a nightmare, you can't control what your mind wants to dream off, whatever it wants to dream, whether be it good or bad... It will dream about it, and it doesn't matter as long as you could be happy again, you are supposed to be happy all the time not sad, being sad isn’t your nature Pinkie..."

"I know... But is this real or is this just another happy dream?"

Of course this is real Pinkie Pie! I wrapped my forelegs around you and pulled you closer towards me, I nuzzled you gently and I know that you could feel it too, I even told you that I love you and yet you don't believe me that this is real, fine... Drastic calls calls for drastic measure... You leave me with no choice Pinkie Pie...

"If this was a dream..." She spoke softly as she moved her head back slightly and gazed directly into Pinkie’s blue sapphire eyes. "Could you feel this?" She pressed her lips against her firmly as she closed her eyes while Pinkie's eyes grew huge as she felt the lip contact.

This is not a dream, it's real!

Rainbow Dash smirked as she parted away and gazed at the stunned pink earth pony in front of her. "Now tell me... Is this real or is this a dream...?"

"It's real! Dashie, you're alive...!" Pinkie's mane and tail started to inflate itself; regaining its poofy shape and color, her voice cracked adorably as she pitched excitedly. "And you do really love me Dashie!"

"Yes I do love you Pinkie Pie." Rainbow Dash chuckled. "I always have.” She yawned slightly. “Are you able to sleep now Pinkie...? It was 2 in the morning when Mrs. Cake informed me about this and we still have a long day ahead of us with the rest of the group."

"Yes of course I am able to sleep after knowing that nightmare isn't real after all. But, er, could you..." She bit her lips slightly as she stopped abruptly which clearly caught Rainbow Dash’s attention.

"Just say it Pinkie..." She spoke as she gazed attentively.

"Could, you stay, with, me, for, to... tonight...?" Pinkie's face reddened slightly; her voice was pitching slightly as she desperately tried to get each word out of her mouth, which made herself cuter in front of Rainbow Dash.

"You know... You are too cute sometimes Pinkie." She chuckled slightly and gave a helping hoof to Pinkie Pie as she got up. "Sure, I can stay at your house whenever you like Pinkie!"

Pinkie smiled happily as she accepted her helping hoof and got up on all fours, the both of them made their way towards her bed that was slightly messed up from all the squirms that she had made earlier on during her nightmare which caused her to whimper uncomfortably softly as she remembered the faint details of it, but Rainbow Dash was quick to realize it and rested her foreleg against her neck and offered her a comforting smile; swiftly vanishing the fears away that Pinkie has from her mind.

Rainbow Dash lay on the bed first; turning her head sideways as she gestured towards Pinkie Pie with a smile on her face; asking her to lie on top her which she blushed and accepted and soon, after she lay on top of her, she started to feel hooves travelled down her poofy mane repeatedly; sending multiple waves of comfortable and serene peace inside her from every single stroke she received from her; sending her to sleep fast while a faint smile remained on her lips.

She had a happy dream later on, but she know that it wouldn't end, as.

She has Rainbow Dash...

Right by her side...

Always...

And...

Forever...

Here's a short fanfic relating to your picture, since you are afraid of writing your own fanfic, I hope you appreciated it as this took me 5 hours just to write this out... You should give yourself a chance and write a fanfic as I am not even a good fanfic writer myself too, but I write fanfics for leisure. I will post this in my gallery fanfic later on too.
