this ship makes lots of sense. I don't get why people ship rin and archer still. i don't like rin and archer it's.. egh. Also the timelines.

Well... actually all of the Shirous eventually fuse with Archer in a way as their memories will rewrite his body to make him the (alternative) future version stronger (the ascentions in f/go) so yeah he will always be the once lover of Artoria Pendragon and search for her... well... at least the one who dpesn't wear black armor or weild a spear, plus being summoned in Chaldea WILL postpone it so... that will take more time than expected... and it's expected to take FOREVER.

It is, this was done in Relata Nue ( witch is Fate Stay Night PS2 version of the game). The game is the same, 3 routes and 5 different endings but they added another one that opens only when you finish the entire game. The ending first tell the story of Fate route and then how Saber and Shirou meet again in Avalon and leave the rest of eternity together.
So it seems that by Type Moon the Fate route is the main true route.

yeah it was, but shirou wouldnt be dark though, since he didnt do the things archer did, not sure in what game archer said it, but archer told tohsaka that his appearance changed when he stop a nuclear reactor from going off or something like that, and that the radiation affected him, as he puts it, it was a good way to get a tan
