The only version of Peter Pan in which Jane is given an actual surname, and it's her mother's maiden name. Hmm, maybe this version of Wendy married a cousin...
The third of 3 recent commissions to =xenokurisu , this is Jane from Nippon's Peter Pan. She's very much like her mother was as a child, except that when she meets Peter (in the very last scene of the series), she's quite a bit younger than Peter, and she's been expecting him to show up for a little while already. But hey, he's Peter Pan, he's allowed to be late! And Jane gets on better with Tinker Bell as well (because I guess Tink remembers Wendy, and realises that in the long-run these girls will come and go, but she'll be there with Peter for her whole life).
She's so adorabubble! I wish she was real, I'd want to give her a great big hug and a furry teddy bear as big as she is! ^__^;;

How could they both have the same middle and last(especially sense Wendy would be married) names?, it's just crazy!

I know, it doesn't really make perfect sense - but maybe Wendy kept her own surname when she got married. All I know is that the final episode of the anime series had Wendy's daughter introducing herself with "My name is Jane Moira Angela Darling. I am Wendy Moira Angela Darling's daughter" to Peter.

I remember that in the 2nd Peter Pan movie, I mostly remember the most from childhood is the Fox version, not so much on the Disney version. What can I say, old childhood memories like that make me clings to it and it's even better when Tim Curry still haunts my head.

Yeah, the episode of the Fox series where Peter brought Jane back from the future was great, I wish they'd done more with her than just that one-off. The 2nd Disney movie starring Jane was also pretty great. But this Japanese version barely got to appear in one scene. She was cute, but was barely even there.

You really remember all that well. Well, I only remember things only when what is today's fashion. My huge percentage in cartoon fashion today is the ponies, the others are not that much, unless you watch documentaries.

My faovurite current shows would be: Doctor Who and My Little Pony FiM.

Dr. Who is not my thing though as I take Star Wars. And no, Star Trek is not on my list either. I had MacGyver once.
And yes, I do watch all the generations except G3, too girly as it looks.
