Finally done! This one is inspired by a short conversation with . I had an idea to post a comment on one of her arts in RP as my squad 9 OC... then it turned out me promising to draw the four of them together. ... it was about 2 months ago... sorry for keep you waiting so long ^_^'The main idea was that their zanpakutou powers are related to the same natural phenomena and Kensei was an idol for all 3 younger soul-reapers, so it is a big reunion when he returned to Soul Society after Aizen's defeat.
Guess this is the only picture where you can see Kensei in the captain's outfit with this hairstyle. The reason is inspite of the fact that his upgated look was introduced in the manga, Shuuhei's wasn't. And I thougth Kensei with his new style beside Shuuhei in his old look would look weird therefore I decided to set the scene about just few weeks after Aizen's defeat so Kensei is already a captain agian but his appearence couldn't change that much during such period of time. By the way, their ranks around those days:
Hyou: 3rd seat of Squad 2
Kensei: captain of Squad 9
Shuuhei: vice-captain of squad 9
Roku: 6th seat of squad 9

I made her left-handed not for any in particular. I'm actually right-handed xD But she needs a good control of her two hands to use Arashi because she needs her left hand for the sword and her right hand for the blade.

yes i do like him XD and yeah, i like that he was in the 6th squad XD and i havent seen an OC with anything shaven into their hair... i like it ^^
XD that they do... strange, i cant remember if there were lightening type swords in Bleach's Canon O_o

You made me think a little... the shaved pattern in his hair is his unique trademark but I definitely wanted to include the 69 tattoo in his design once and I thought the 69 tattoo whith a shaved 六 would look odd together, so I changed the 六 to tattoo too. But know I think there is an other option: both the 六 and the 69 could be shaved too. I'm courious about your opinion, what you think which is the best, both shaved or both tattoo?
Lightning-type zanpakutou in BLEACH canon: yes, I was never thinking about that, but know you mention it, true no real electicity based zanpakutou. I wonder why, they're so cool. Though there are two zanpakutous in Bleach canon, that are a bit connected to this element:
First Soi Fon's bankai, Jakoho Raikoben, it's name means Hornet Thunder Whip.
The second one is Sasakibe's Gonryoumaru, which indeed has lightning based attacks, but that was only shown in the Zanpakutou Unknown Tales filler arc.

really I liked the shaved idea... its something I haven't seen on an OC before and it looks better than a tattoo on somebody's head anyway.... so yeah,I would go with the shaved numbers
Yeah but Soi Fon's bankai sucked XD and you would think lightning would be in bleach seeing how the Japanese tend to love it XD

Poor Soi, Kubo trolled her hard with that bankai XD ... an oversized and overpovered bazooka is a bankai that would better fit Kenpachi I think.
Well, maybe not among zanpakutou powers but there are some awesome lightning techniques in BLEACH just think about shunko, kidous, like byakurai, raikohou and my favorite hadou, the hiryuu gekizoku shinten raihou and also Ulquiorra's lanza del lerampago is a lightning lance, literally
