Hum... Not really? 0: ) I disagree haha :-p
Bleach has moved on haha, and Himym has a logical explanation for the very-saddly-quite-crappy ending :-p
Can I tell you my point of view?

(Just before I start, I'd just like to say I really, really didn't like the ending (I love Barney and Robin) , though I thought it was intelligent and well thought out  )
If you rewatch episode 12 - I think? - of season 9, there's a part where Tracy tells Ted that he shouldn't live in his stories, and that  he would have to learn to move on, and then Ted starts crying (because he knows Tracy is dying). Well, I think that is the show's final message!!
The whole show's point is to show that you never have only one love in your life, and that whatever happens in life, it does, in a realistic sense, move on. "The one" and"the universe" are like the basic ideas of the show, but the show itself proves them wrong: Ted himself showed the universe wasn't that important, or real, despite being the one that believed the most in it (with Marshall haha :-p) (as he told Robin in the end of season 8).
And for example, Ted had both Robin and Tracy, Tracy had him and Max, Robin had Ted and Barney... (Though of course Barney got dicked in the process )
And most of the gang's parents remaried or went back with someone else, like Barney's mum!!
I think the finale wanted to give a message, and one that was planned since the beginning: Ted's perfect girl was Tracy, and he always thought all he had seen and lived would only build up to them being together, but it actually build his whole life, his friends, his family, his universe, in the process. And it made him fall in love with not only the mother, but Robin too.

Life moves on, and it is realist and fun and I dunno, wonderful? Despite all that happens. I think that's the show's final message.
Though I agree as a fan I reaaaally would have liked an alternate ending :-p
Please tell me your thoughts!!
