The Orochochimaru 'chain around the neck.' Worse then a 'ball and chain'. He couldn't go back to the Orphanage because he'd put them in danger since the group he was spying for no longer wanted him. He may have had an option to split from Orochimaru when we first see him in Naruto but he chose to stay with Oro. Kabuto didn't seem to give the orphanage any thought then but it would have been destroyed along with the rest of Konoha if Oro had had his way. But by then, Kabuto had so much blood on his hands he probably wouldn't have thought that Urushi would have welcomed him back anyway. Danzo still would have been a problem. And he seemed to get a kick at trying to see how far he could go, strength wise. The phrase - the snake that saves is the snake that kills - sort of enters my mind but we will see. Maybe. [Haven't read Naruto in ages.]

You've improved majorly. I've always been a big fan of yours, even before I had a DA account. Back when I was a huge Naruto fan and kind of new to the Internet fandom and would explore DeviantArt without an account, I would spend a lot of time looking at your work and laughing at some of them (mostly abusing the artist ones). After a while, Naruto isn't as big to me as it used to be (though I still like it and read it occasionally) but...I still love your artwork to death and still watch it loyally. You are extremely talented at your craft and did really well on this piece. You've given me a lot of perspective on Kabuto's character who, lets face it, doesn't get a lot of screentime.

I really enjoy the words you wrote for the picture. I really love your descriptions, especially since it sounds as if it could be from a book or a well written fan-fiction. Goes really well with Kabuto's character

lol I know what you mean. I used to write a lot when I was younger and I had more patience for it. I wrote two books for fun in middle school. Now, though, I end up just sticking with the one-shots instead of multi-chapters since I have a more hard time sitting down and committing to writing if I get too serious about it. Another reason why poetry was always easier for me than actual stories (even though I can come up with a million good plots). Writing should be for fun and it's not always fun committing to a large project (especially when things in life get in the way, especially the accursed 'writers block'.. grr..writers block...)
Although, I can imagine you writing one killing novel with your writing skills. XD My skills are fairly decent, but you seem to have real talent.

The wound could look better.... Now it just looks like someone draw it on top of your work with a pen or marker -_-
I understand, that you probably meant it to look like that way, but then, I think, that all red in this work should look the same. Now everything except wound blends in.
