So many things wrong with this picture...!
First off, it should be me. BUT IT DOESN'T EVEN LOOK LIKE ME, even though I traced my own face from a reference photo!!! I have no idea how this happened! I don't look so pretty! And my hair isn't that blonde anymore, more of a mundane asphalt-colour...
The gown's pattern took most of my time. Seriously. I started this picture around 10AM and was done with it 1 hour past midnight...
All done on ClipStudioPaint with almost solely the colour pencil brush. The background has some airbrush-effect and some crack-on-the-wall effect, but other than that, everything is done on the pencil brush in various sizes and opacity. During making this, I had to (AGAIN) battle against infuriating LAG on the clip studio, plus a wonky pointer than started to draw random zig-zag lines where-ever it decided it wanted them, or not draw at all even though I moved the pen on the tablet...

It is, well, sort of inspired by her name. In Finnish (my native language) she's called Kateriina Jagellonica, but since the letter "J" would be pronounced as a "dz"-sound by English speakers, I changed it into "Y".

I like so many colours and so many colour combinations
but my favourite remains purple
it's a relaxing colour

My current closet has very limited colours: grey (mostly quite dark), black, dark purple (a few pieces, really difficult to find the right shade, a lot seems to be this very "overly happy" purple which I don't like), and a couple of dark blue items (again, almost impossible to find in this country where blue isn't even viewed as a separate colour but an extension of green, often the two being the same colour in the eyes of the locals, and dark blue being viewed as the same as black)......

Also, the sun in Thailand is never yellow, as most Westerners see it, but red. Long ago, my daughter came back from school saying she was ridiculed by her teacher after she had drawn a yellow sun... I really wanted to kick that teacher's butt! Not long after we moved our kids to an international school...
