Description
I've been searching out the connections
between events & atoms, composing songs
of Polaroid snapshots I took in a dream
where all the pieces come together, to be broken
against the harsh backdrop of dawn.

I've been collecting evidence of love;
letters scattered across the streets & hoof beats
that echo as the beasts fall.
I have found it in the silences & between
sideways glances, the way my heart trips
into my throat over every detail
I can't help but remember
when it's nearly midnight, the moonlight leaving me
again, without dreams.
