Description
I've been a huge Evangelion fan for quite some time. Unfortunately, due to my main focus being Pokémon I haven't had time to make any fan art for the show.So, for a small change of pace, I'm going to be drawing the 17 Angels that appear in the original television series (I won't be drawing the Lilim as the 18th Angel) between drawing Pokémon. The Angels are my favorite aspect of the show, so that's what I decided to work off of. I'm going to try to go in order so I don't stray from drawing some of the ones I consider less interesting.
Anyway... Adam, a Seed of Life and the progenitor of the Angels. Classified as the 1st Angel. Here I decided to draw it as it was initiating Second Impact at the South Pole. Adam is probably my second favorite Angel, after Tabris.

For people who watch me for Pokémon art: Fear not, my main focus is still drawing Sugimori-style art for all 649 Pokémon. Now it's just that every once in a while I'll be drawing one of the Angels, that's all.

I've always questioned when those shoulder-plates appear on the angel form of the Evas... since they were armor added later :/ I don't think it makes much sense but this is an awesome picture all the same :3

I believe it was implied the shoulder pylons are restraints they tried to fit Adam with.

Why did the show call adam an angel? Since(according to eva wikia) Adam and Lillith were really ancient alien spawn machines, and the angels were spawned from adam. and Lilith really had no connection to the angels.

Adam would have been such an awesome Angel for the Evas to fight... if Eva were a traditional Super Robot anime, that is.

Since he's the 17th Angel (and my favorite Angel/Character from the show), of course I'll be drawing him. Unfortunately I'm going to have to resist the urge to draw him right now, since I want to draw the Angels in order.
