HAPPY BIRTHDAY PRUSSIA!!~~~~~
(Name) walked down the street towards her best friend's house. Who was this best friend of her's you might ask? Her best friend was none other than Prussia himself. Yep! She was closest to the egoistical albino. She meet this man when she came with her big brother Japan to Germany's house. Yes! Japan was her older brother. She even had the adorable Japanese accent to prove it as well. But, anyway she was visiting her best friend because today was his birthday! As she neared her destination she began to wonder if he would like her gift.
'I hope he likes my gift! And the pastries I baked as well!' In all honesty the young woman really wanted for the Prussian male to like her gift.
It would be a lie if (Country Name) said she didn't like the albino male. Liking him would be an understatement. But, anyway the (brunette, ginger, blonde etc.) began to wonder how big the party was going to be. She had been to several of the parties planned by The Bad Touch Trio and The Awesome Trio as well. The parties were gigantic!! So it was natural to think about how big the party would be.
As she arrived at the front porch of Germany's house, she was surprised to see the house as clean and well brilliant as ever.
'Maybe they haven't started yet!' She knocked on the door and patiently waited.'Hmm, that's strange. I'll just use the key Germany gave me!'
With one hand she held the box with the delicious pastries and the small box that contained the gift for her crush. She dug around her pocket for the small key and easily took it out. With a small flick of her wrist and a twist of her hand the door opened. The inside of the house surprised her the most.
No decorations, no banner that read 'Happy Birthday Gilbert!', no beer on the table, no streamers, no balloons. Nothing! The female gently closed the door and began walking to the kitchen. She placed the baked pastries on the counter and carefully placed the small box in her pocket.
'Could they have possibly forgotten it was Prussia's birthday today?' (Country Name) shook her head.
'No! That's impossible! His own brother couldn't have forgotten about his birthday. Neither could France, Spain, Denmark or America! But what if they did forget?!' (Name) sighed.
It would be impossible to forget the albino male! They couldn't have forgotten! Right?! She decided to look around the house to find any trace of the Prussian.
She walked upstairs and began to walk down the white hallway. She stopped at the last door, Prussia's bedroom door. With slight hesitation she opened the door slowly. She peaked inside and what she found inside made her fragile heart break. On the bed lay her best friend, his platinum hair messier than usual and a straight line present on his lips. His usually bright red orbs were dull and the white of his eyes were a reddish color. He looked like a mess in other words.
No doubt that his friends had forgotten the dissolved country's birthday. Her heart wrenched in sympathy and pain. Without much hesitation she stepped into the room. She shut the door creating a small 'slam'. Gilbert's head instantly turned in her direction and as soon as he saw her his eyes widened. The female walked over to his bed and sat down. The albino male sat up and stared at her and a forced smile replaced his slight frown.
"Hey (Name). What's up?" The female didn't fail to notice the pain in his unusually dull vermillion eyes. Tears where noticeable in his eyes as well. "It's your birthday, Gil. That's what's up!" Worried (e/c) stared at dull and red eyes.
Gilbert let out a sigh and turned his head away from her. He wished she wasn't here to see the pain he was currently going through. Before he could stop himself, the tears he tried so hard to keep pent up began to fall. All these years of keeping his emotions and loneliness pent up and covering them up with his masquerade had led up to this. Even his own brother had forgotten his birthday and there was nothing he could do about it. The pain was unbelievable, sobs and tears escaped his body. He brought his knees up to his chest and buried his face in them. (Name) watched the male let out all his emotions, his pain and loneliness, for a second or two before taking action. She crawled to where the sobbing man sat. She gently wrapped her arms around him and gently stroked his back in a soothing motion. Prussia buried his head in the female's shoulder and cried. All that ran through his mind was all the pent up pain. Hungary's rejection and picking Austria over him, the dissolving of his country and Old Fritz as well as today were the main moments that ran through his mind. Maybe he hadn't realized how lonely he felt at first but now it weighed down on him like a ten ton boulder. (Name) could only imagine everything Gilbert had been through. Continues minutes were spent this way, Prussia crying his eyes and pain out meanwhile (Name) trying her best to comfort him. After a little while, his sobbing ceased to light hiccupping. They parted and Gilbert quickly tried to wipe away all the remaining tears from his pale face.
"I'm sure this wont really help but, I have a present for you."
(Name) carefully took the small box out of her pocket and placed it in her best friend's hand.
She smiled at him, "I know it's not much but I taught you might like it! I got one like it too! You know, since we're best friends!"The female blabbered on nervously.
The male curiously stared at the small package wrapped in a red wrapping paper with a small white bow at the top. He unwrapped the package and opened the box. Inside lay a necklace with an iron cross, he picked it up and turned it around. On fine cursive letter read 'To my dearest friend. I know you think I might forget you, but believe me I never will!- (Name)' A small smile graced his lips and before (Name) could comprehend what was happening, she was placed in a tight hug.
"(Name), thank you. You might now realize it, but I really am grateful." The female smiled and returned the hug.
"No problem Gil! I'm always here for you!"
Gilbert unwrapped his arms around the female and looked her in the eyes. A rosy pink hue dusted both their cheeks. Without much hesitation Gilbert closed that space. (Name)'s face burst into a full blown blush as she kissed back. The kiss was gentle, full with love for each other. As they parted, Gilbert tightly hugged her.
"Ich liebe dich, (Name)!"The Prussian male mumbled into as he placed his head in the crook of her neck.
"Ich liebe dich auch, Gil." She spoke with the little German she knew.
As long as Gilbert had (Name), he couldn't care who forgot him. Maybe, just maybe, this was the best birthday ever.
