Description

How can I pretend that I don't see
What you hide so carelessly?
I saw her bleed
You heard me breathe
So I froze inside myself
And turned away
I must be dreaming

"(Name)~" The Italian male purred darkly, "Se fossi in te, mi terrei che graziosa bocca del tuo chiuse. Lei non vorrebbe finire come lei faresti~?"
A harsh shiver ran up the female's spine as her knees buckled, threatening to give out, the Italian's grip on her waist being the only thing keeping her up. A sob crawled up her throat, adding to her desperate attempt to keep quiet. 'God, let me live..'
The man smirked, predatory magenta irises enforcing his previous statement. He chuckled lowly before releasing (Name) and disappearing into the dark abyss of the night.
The female slid down her front door and stared dully at her porch.
This had to be a nightmare.
--------Flashback~!--------
All was at peace in (city name). The night sky littered with tiny glittering stars. But, somehow (Name) couldn't shake an annoying, itchy feeling. She managed to shrug it off as she continued walking home from the park.
Just as she began to near the corner of a store, the annoying feeling returned. And with a nice punch. It managed to grow more as she neared an alley. Just as she walked past it, something caught her eye. Slowly and quietly, she backed up and peered into the alley.
What she saw was not pleasant...
There stood a seemingly pleased Luciano, his knife pressed against (r/n)'s throat. He chuckled darkly, muttering a few incoherent words in Italian.
What followed soon after was absolutely horrifying to (Name)
Luciano slashed her throat open, a strangled cry leaving (Name)'s former bully's lips. Luciano took a step back as she collapsed on the ground, choking on her own blood. After a minute or two, she just lay there, a large pool of blood forming afterwards.
(Name) just stood there, horrified.
Her mouth opened, a scream scratching at her throat. Instead, gasps and incoherent gurgles came from her gaping mouth. Unfortunately for her, Luciano noticed them.
As soon as he turned, she ran.
----------------------------------------------------
We all live
We all die
That does not begin to justify you
----------------------------------------------------
She just lay there, in her bed, staring blankly at the ceiling.
The scene replayed over and over in her mind, along with a side of horror and fear.
For a moment, she wondered what Luciano was thinking.
Did he think his actions were justifiable?
Death:
Has and always will be inedible.
Everyone lives, and everyone dies.
That's the circle of life.
'That doesn't make Luciano's actions any less forgivable.'
----------------------------------------------------
It's not what it seems
Not what you think
No, I must be dreaming
It's only in my mind
Not in real life
No, I must be dreaming
----------------------------------------------------
At times, (Name)'s sanity would slip.
At those moments, she tended to question what occurred that warm, summer night.
"N-no...L-luci would never to something like that",-the girl whispered,-"it's all in my mind!" Her voice rose hysterically, ringing around her quiet home. After that sentence, she broke out in a fit of giggles and sobs.
----------------------------------------------------
Help you know I've got to tell someone
Tell them what I know you've done
I fear you but spoken fears can come true
----------------------------------------------------
The female sat rather uncomfortably in between her friends.
She itched to tell them what she had seen that night.
Oh how she longed for that sweet relief.
But, every time she opened her mouth to try and speak her mind, Luciano's words came into mind.
"Se fossi in te, mi terrei che graziosa bocca del tuo chiuse. Lei non vorrebbe finire come lei faresti~?"
The (e/c) eyed female didn't doubt for one second he wouldn't keep his word.
----------------------------------------------------
We all live
We all die
That does not begin to justify you
It's not what it seems
Not what you think
No, I must be dreaming
It's only in my mind
Not in real life
No, I must be dreaming
We all live and
We all die but
That does not begin to justify you
It's not what it seems
Not what you think
No, I must be dreaming
It's only in my mind
Not in real life
No, I must be dreaming
----------------------------------------------------
"N-no... Please! Stay away from me!" The woman awoke in cold sweat. Her eyes shone in terror, small tears brimming in the corner of her eyes. Her heart thundered harshly against her chest, creating a symphony with the drumming of her head and eardrums.
"This has to be in my mind....It's not real...." It didn't matter how much she lied, and how hard she tried to convince herself that all this was a lie, a hallucination.
She would never be free of that burden.
----------------------------------------------------
Not what it seems
Not what you think
I must be dreaming
Just in my mind
Not in real life
I must be dreaming

One day, a few weeks after the incident, a knock was heard at the front door. (Name) hesitantly walked over and opened the door.
"Ciao, Bella~" A sickly sweet voice sang.
Oh God.
All of a sudden, she felt the urge to vomit. Her throat gave harsh convulses, her breakfast making it's way up her esophagus.
"H-hi, Luciano. W-what do you need?"
It took a lot of strength to mutter that minute sentence.
She was currently freaking out, badly.
"We need to talk-a, bella."
And with that, he closed the door behind him.
"Remember a night not so long ago.."
(Name)'s voice died in her throat, she nodded meekly.
"Well, bella, this is a secret between you and me, capisci? But, sadly, two can keep a secret if one of them is dead.."
The words were a threat alright, and before she could run, a burst of pain spread from her neck to the rest of her body. The pain was hot and sticky, the metallic taste and scent of blood mixing into her very own taste of death.
She struggled to breath, but not for very long, as her vision became a black abyss. She stopped breathing all together, her body going limp.
This was a secret she would carry to her grave...
