This is a Tengu-class Strategic Cruiser (Tech 3) silhouetted against one of many of EVE's stars.
I wondered what would happen if I set all of my graphics settings to maximum, enabled HDR, and turned the bloom setting on "High" while in close orbit of a sun.
The result speaks for itself.
I'm impressed daily by EVE's graphics, and the lighting bloom and occlusion are no exceptions.
