Description This is an oldie I hadn't gotten around to updating:
It was an unfinished part of the Nihls story line, involving the Tzimitzi calling himself Vlad Tepes. (Whos sense of humor should be pretty obvious) he stole the information on how to make gargoyles from another clan and well...they wanted it back.
And Nihls being capable of going out in daylight and otherwise being expendable...they sent him.

Which apparently Vlad knew they whole time, amusing himself by keeping tabs on Nihls attempt to sneak through the castle then scaring the tar out of him by walking up behind him while Nihls searched the library.

The picture is Vlad explaining why Nihls can have the book back.

All super evil vampires should have expansive, dusty libraries full of ancient mystic tomes.... and a copy machine in the back.

Evil really should get with the times more often.

I love this for Vlad's hooked nose and the copy machine. Also Nihls' terror is extremely well-portrayed.

I really should have written that story down in its origional form. I don't think i have ever done it as well as the first time i did it out with you. Truly a loss.

I have notes, but thats about all. Some of them are copy pastes from our conversations, but not a whole lot, would that help?

LOL, thanks. I think "Vampire" is like a lot of systems, you get your really bad games and your really good games, and I've definitely run into both.
e_e; Like the one with the Malkavian that kept running around making everyone pee themselves.
Goddamn Malkie......
But in this case it didn't hurt to have someone with the tendency to pull all the stuff out of the guide he wasn't interested in and stomp on it. CwC.

Awesome gallery btw. (and your icon cracked me up.)

Wasn't it from the One man band one?
*loves Pixar* <3

I've only ever played one Changeling, unfortunately they got splatted fast when the GM got me arrested for being in the wrong place at the wrong time. X_X poor Devlin.

The only character I've ever had that lasted an shorter frame of time was the extraordinarily short lived Cyprian. I did resurect his concept later and play him elsewhere though.

XD yeahhhhh. C_C
His Seelie and Unseelie side had gotten split so they were acting as MPD.... and well... his unseelie side killed some people.
Although ironically that wasn't where he got arrested, he was helping another guy out hunting for an unrelated criminal. Also it didn't help he was ENTIRELY unaware that he had this little uh.... personality problem.

^_^; Yeah that part wasn't my idea. I had a frighteningly creative GM.
And someone else was playing his Unseelie side, which made things trickier, because I really couldn't do anything about it.

Nice. ^^ I really do love your work. *nod* I dunno what about it intrigues me so much, but I love it so much. The expressions on the faces of your characters, and how easily they stand in normal positions... I hope one day I can draw like that! >3 *determined*

Oh! Have you ever read 'The Historian'? It's kinda got Dracula in it. ^^ Well, something like that. It's hard to explain... but it's got an old dusty library! This picture just made me think of that. XD

xaotl In reply to CrimsonFangs [2008-08-05 09:19:20 +0000 UTC]

Ironically I just picked it up the other day since my sister finally finished reading it, I haven't gotten very far but it's pretty good! :3
Definitely keep that faith in yourself. <3 I think you draw quite well, and your pattern work is better than mine.
I got a guide from Burne Hogarth thats not bad for studying action poses a long time back, that helps sometimes. Since once upon a time he drew Tarzan he's got a good idea of how to get some very strong action movements. <3
My one thing I tell everyone though is to be true to your own style. Thats the most important thing you can do other than just keep drawing. It's the best way to go.

CrimsonFangs In reply to xaotl [2008-08-05 15:35:00 +0000 UTC]

Hahah! Really? XDD I hope you enjoy it, you'll have to let me know what you think at the end!

Well thank you. ^_^ I'll keep faith! *determined*

Burne Hogarth? He drew Tarzan? And has a book on action poses? I'll have to look that up when I get back to school. ^~^

I'll definitely be true to whatever my style is/becomes. I think it's still changing a bit, but I'm getting it down. *nod* And I'll definitely keep drawing. Thank you for that encouragement, I feel special now. XD <3

XD yeah but there's just something about the idea of an ancient undead using a photocopier. XD

lol....it is amusing .... my 250 year old vampire, Damien, adapts to modern times easily....but my 800 year old knight Dacian vampire totally doesn't lol....

Cute drawing! He's a Tzimitzi, they're probably too old-fashioned and classy for copy machines.

*laughs* this one apparently thought it was an incredibly novel invention. Of course half the reason he apparently stole the guide to Gargoyles 101 was boredom.

Much as he was repeated source of terror for Nihls, Vlad was a really fun aspect of the game.

Tizrak In reply to xaotl [2008-08-04 21:18:33 +0000 UTC]

Repeated source of terror? So did Vlad have so much fun scaring Nihls that he started seeking him out for more scaring, or was it one of those 'once you run into someone once you keep running into them' things?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

xaotl In reply to Tizrak [2008-08-05 09:23:34 +0000 UTC]

Vlad sort of kept seeking him out on occasion, he was very interested in trying to get Nihls to join the Sabat, and Nihls was very interested in not having the direct attention of a flesh-crafter. I think he also had fun watching Nihls squirm though.
