Azuolas had happened upon the wounded stag by chance as he patrolled the slopes of Remiel, but it had disappeared into the mist as quickly as it appeared. Each time the gap dwindled and the stag came into view, it flitted away again with ease. It almost felt as though the island were toying with him, and he would have questioned if he was chasing nothing more than a ghost had it not been for the thin trail of blood glistening in the white expanse. A gust of wind kicked up a whirlwind of snow, briefly revealing the stag that had been concealed in the mist. As the storm gathered, the Adnos let loose a thunderous howl calling for his fellow Kol. The wounded stag may have found the herd, but Azuolas had the pack and they were all hungry.
