The article is titled "What's in your Life's Backpack?" It is about being light in living, not overburdening self with too much stuffs.

Thanks No, I just had the pattern to go after when I did it.
Most of the times, specially on backpacks, it's mostly logic when it comes to where each part should be. But a tutorial wouldnt be wrong if someone did.

I did use a 4mm thick cowleather that was soften up so it wasnt so stiff as it usualy is with that thickness.

Hmm.. was almost a year since I made it, and I have most things in boxes atm cause of moving in the end of this month. Let's see.. I think I used maybe around 8 square foot for the brown skin, and maybe around 1.5 square foot for most of the black, maybe even 2. That model of backpack is the "35liter" one. Thats why I have the wooden frame as help for holding it up better.

Well, the one I have.. the one on the pics, is a 35liters backpack. I can make smaller, like around 25liters also, then you dont need the woodframe etheir.
