Description
As far as drawing Prime I'm not sure anyone can top Don Figueroa. This is taken from IDW's Spotlight Optimus Prime comic and Don's masterful inks.All Transformers are copyright and TM Hasbro.

I don't really know how to draw but I would like to draw a fan art of Mr. Prime but your fan art looks so amazing I'm afraid to do it. I'll do it anyways. Great piece of work.

Hmmm think you could have done a little bit more with highlights (try using a dodge layer on top) and dark shading using the round lightsource that casts strong shades. Don even inked a bit of the circle on Prime's butt (!), but you ignored it.
Also, the spotlight creates a yellow impact, but the highlights on Prime are white!
Yellow + red = ?

Thanks for the feedback bud. I actually originally had an orangy hue to the highlights and they were a bit brighter but I ended up toning it down quite a bit as I thought it looked a wee bit too much. And how do you know Prime's not stood next to a yellow wall that's lit up by a white light?
I SO hadn't noticed his butt shadow when I coloured it though I must admit!

Thanks! Josh Burcham's original colours were excellent so I had to render this in a completely different way as I didn't want to copy him. Although it has a more shiny Anime look to the textures I did keep a slightly washed out pallette to keep the pic looking a bit dramatic.
