Hi. I like your fanfic "Testatement", "Devil's Dance", "Silent Screams", "Dark Storm Rising", and "Hell Alliance" . I like how you made connection between Optimus Prime and Rodimus Prime with a different view, and I really like characteristic of Rodimus Prime in your fanfic he more liars than Rodimus Prime in G1. Can I make fan art from your fanfic? But in my humanformers version, because very difficult if I draw in Robot version.
Sorry if my grammar was wrong. Thank You for reading my commentar .

... It took me a moment to realize this is for your website. I'd like to suggest you entail what type of artwork you're looking for-and add boundaries for the sake of appropriation. Will those who contribute need to attend the convention itself? And how will you feature the artwork? Will it be on a monitor as part of a slideshow, or will you use hardcopies/prints of the artwork and post them on the booth walls?

Awesome answer!
lol
HLN was defining deviant last night and it did occur to me that there should be some content limits.
No. They do not have to attend but if they can if they want to. It depends on the site they work on. People actively contributing to the comic book website for one year qualifies under Comic Con's professional guidelines.
I honestly never thought about a slideshow. That is a great idea.
I was thinking hard copies. I have a backdrop and tables from my craft shows. It would be an art display on the tables then around the back and sides.
For instance if you wanted to show your work on Optimus Prime, I would put up a hard copy and have all your contact information. Anything that copyright laws would prevent it for being sold but companies looking for artists would be able to see your work and pick up your information.
For one of your original creatures it would be printed up. You decide how many you want to sell and much money you want to make from the signed and numbered prints. Contact information will be included with the print. After the show, money and unsold prints are sent to you.
Anyone that contributes can put a resume out for companies that might be interested in new artists.
I drew this for you. Don't be jealous of my talent.

thank you for the lovely drawing! not often that I get drawings from people. As for my artwork, 95% of it is old stock. I did not have much room in which to work at the old house but at our newer home, I have a nice backporch with a roof and a room down in the basement in which I can set up shelves and a table-my room is about the same size as Cliff's... maybe a little smaller. Not very conducive for artwork.
You know, I used to paint what I call xeno-geographical landscapes. I haven't done something like that since college. Might be fun to do a new one.
I'm tickled that I gave you something to consider. Ooh, I hope you get several takers on your offer!

Rarely do I share my art.
It just makes others feel inadequate.
I don't like to hurt others.
My current project is sculpting with bacon. I made sort of person to day but her leg fell off. Bacon hair is not easy to make.
Glad you got more space. Hope you can get it just the way you like.
I am looking forward to showing your work when I get there! I am going to put your Transformers in a gallery on Comic Books and Cartoons if you don't mind.
Thank you for your input. Especially the slideshow. That would get more attention.

you can find all of DSR here: [link] and there's other stories listed here: [link] many of them are uber-short but still all a part of DSR except "Toy" and "Fangirl Intollerations" (1 and 2). Happy reading!!

Comment on the "G1: Done right the first time around" line in your signature:
While the G1 cartoon was mostly okay, they ruined the ending with "The Rebirth". (Transformers series in general seem to have a hard time not screwing up the finales, Cybertron being a rare exception.) And the Marvel comics sucked.

I couldn't agree more about "Rebirth" and the Marvel Comics. Imagine downloading someone's soul onto a 5 1/4" floppy. I mean, that's right up there with canned robotic insecticide and invisibility spray.
But the G1 cartoon, at the time, was awesome. How many cartoon shows out there have characters that demonstrate true remorse or admit they have responsibility? It was a far cry from the Smurfs, that's for sure.

ZeldaTheSwordsman In reply to Koontah [2011-11-03 16:50:18 +0000 UTC]
The old My Little Pony cartoon did it. It also taught the lesson of not holding grudges against the genuinely repentant. Which is a very important lesson for people to learn.
It's not just downloading his soul onto a floppy that bugged me, what really got to me was why it had to be downloaded in the first place: OPTIMUS PRIME committed suicide over a video game. And unlike the similarly-fuckwitted episode in the cartoon, B.O.T., Marvel didn't have the sense to ignore it but instead ran with the stupid thing.

My theory is that real humans do not work in the upper-echlon places where ideas should be sifted like so much flour. I think what happens is the bean counters discover that humans are too costly to employ. So after the first few successful ideas, the humans are unceremoniously replaced with chimpanzees and turkeys. Such employees work for bananas and grubs. Health insurance is never an issue cuz once a monkey or a turkey get sick, they just get shipped off and a replacement is purchased for peanuts.
See? That's how the world works.
Now you know!

I borrowed Strike Back so I can match his colors for my next creation Luckily I had a previous Maddy drawing that will be perfect for this one and only had to color. Spent a few hours (its 3am lol) sketching Galvatron and let me tell you that I was laughing while drawing him and decided he needed a martini glass for some reason. I think its getting late and I should go to sleep!
