Lol. Robin Hood stole taxes and gave them back to the people who were unfairly taxed. Do you think he'd be advocating that Prince John increase taxes in order to offer more wonderful government entitlements?

Like the Pharisees of Jesus' time, you cling to the letter of the law in exchange for giving up its spirit. The United states used to be "the land of opportunity". That doesn't happen when the laws favor the wealthy so they can keep as much money for themselves as they like at the expense of everyone else. That's an at least 30 year trend in this country including things like the (albeit imperfect) minimum wage not following inflation (which only indirectly affects me because I'm a $60/hr software engineer). [link]
The land of opportunity occurs when the government works to level the playing field between the wealthy and the poor, keeping the power of wealth in check and ensuring that the poor have opportunities to move up.
Prince John didn't do anything at all for the poor -- entitlements or otherwise. When the wealthy (Prince John) are allowed to buy the laws they want, the money doesn't "trickle-down" as they suggest, they keep it for themselves as Prince John did. Protesting is the available method we have to fight for a more level playing field again, short of Robin Hood's vigilante justice, which I wouldn't advocate.
As long as we're on the subject, Jesus was a poor man and actually advocated a pretty socialist way of life. Time after time the bible quotes him as telling people to sell all their posessions and give to the poor. Luke 18:22 When Jesus heard this, he said to him, "You still lack one thing. Sell everything you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me." Mathew 6:19 Matthew 6:19 "Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth... Luke 12:33 Sell your possessions and give to the poor. -- I'm not nearly as radical as Jesus was -- but I do believe that we should be leveling the playing-field instead of creating a new aristocracy in the US with things like dynasty trusts. You also seem to be ill-informed about the OWS movement in general. I notice you favorited a stamp that says "Occupy Wallstreet? How about occupy a job?!" ... turns out most of the OWS protestors actually are employed. A much higher percentage of the OWS protesters (85%) are employed than are Tea Party protestors (56%). [link]
Not sure what you were hoping to accomplish here... choosing to remain ignorant of instead of educating yourself about the people and goals you're attacking isn't helping your cause.

No, I just have had enough of "debating" your ilk on the internet. I answer your questions and put forward my own, you proceed to ignore them and call me a facist 1 percenter, etc. Santorum 2012, baby.

Except I didn't actually do any of that, so you're just making yourself look like the jerk here.

I pointed out a irony in your comic, and your first sentence compares me to a Biblical pharisee. That is called an ad hominem attack, there, smart aleck, and if you can't even start the first sentence of your response without resorting to that, I have better ways to spend my time.

You started your comment with a snarky attack (not simply "pointing out an irony" as you put it), smart aleck. If you didn't want a snarky response, perhaps you should have started off on a better foot. D'oh! And as a result, since you didn't bother to read past the first sentence of my reply to see my reasoning for making that comment, you're still making yourself look like the jerk here. If anyone should be complaining about the waste of time here, it's me, since I actually bothered to put in some time and thought and you haven't. But as I said, if you're not interested in learning anything, it's your loss, not mine.

That's exactly how it is, some people are trying to tell us that Prince Jon is the hero.

Hmm, in order for me to get the joke, I have to ask myself, "Self, what's wrong with this picture?" I think it involves the setting of the medieval times like with Robin Hood and all that fantasy stuff, since back then it's all "going medieval" and this kind of "Liberal" stuff would seem absurd back in the times when society was all Spartan minded.

I think that was part of the allure of Robin Hood to begin with, that he stood up for the poor before doing that was in fashion... much as Jesus also did. But no, the joke isn't really about "liberalism", it's about the notion of Robin Hood staging peaceful protest (instead of armed rebellion)... and the sheriff's men using a giant pepper mill to disperse them (as opposed to pepper spray).
