Description Proof that I occasionally DO draw humans.  I'm actually about 2/3 finished coloring him, and I was going to post the most up to date progress, but I decided that it looks a bit...creepy when only partway colored, so I'm posting the sketch instead.  Huge thanks to kynliod for helping me with anatomy!  i have trouble with skull shape, lol.

Damn, really good...the proportions are nice! I think I gave up on humans...for now at least Animals are just easier for me ^^

Yeah, I think animals are easier, but there is fan art I really want to do that has humans...so I want to get better at humans. Most of the time when I draw them they look all creepy and stuff.

Yes, I had the same problem when I drew Lisbeth Salanders portrait! I love her so much, but...it's a human!
It irks me a bit that this hinders me on drawing more fanart of her but oh well...same for my arctic fox character which I wanted to see in a human form...I had to do an art trade with someone who can draw humans to get this done ^^
I hope one day I can draw her myself.

The funny thing is, the more I improve on drawing animals, the more I improve on drawing humans as well. You should give it another go, you may be surprised.  I think it is something about getting better at judging distance and angle and shape--when you improve it on animals you can do it on humans too.

Mmmh....yeah, probably you're right, it makes sense!
I'll have to try it again some time

Your anatomy on him is really good; I admire how you did the 3/4 angle, that's pretty difficult.

Thanks! I think the 3/4 angle is probably my favorite, actually--the hardest angle for me is straight on.
