Thank you!! I was really proud of this, I felt like it has been one of my favorites. Cats are really hard to draw for me, but once I get them, they are so satisfying.

I also wanted to include I actually still have the little kitten I gave to him and his sibling when I first brought them home to raise... I wanted to keep his toy fish too, but felt it should be with him so he can have it. He was buried in my favorite too. ;n; Boy do I miss him deeply.

We buried Baron with his tennis ball and some milk bones. A while later I found a squeaky hamburger toy in a forgotten corner of the yard and it stays next to his gravestone now.

I feel so horribly that its taken me so long to comment on this, but I've legit been looking at this on and off all day... I've just had no words, like really no words. Seeing this brings so much happiness to my heart but also made me tear up with sadness. I miss my BearBear so much, so very much and seeing this really just made me smile so big! It looks just like him, he would always roll onto his back like that to play with his silly torn up blue fish plush cat toy - Boy did he love that toy. Haha. Gosh, I just... Really can't stop looking at this and thinking about to him and how silly him and his sisters were. I really... I really just love this so much, so very much! Like no words can describe just how adorably perfect this is! You truly captured him so perfectly, and ugh your feline anatomy has really grown so much!! I love the coloring too! Also the blue shading is such a nice touch too! The background is cute too- Its simple yet adds a lot of playfulness to the drawing!
Ugh, there's so much more I want to say about this... But I'm truly just at a loss for words. ;n; How can I even begin to tell you how much this not only means to me, but how much I love it. I really do love it, and cannot thank you enough for this! You brought my little BearBear back to life in art form, and for that I'm beyond grateful.

Ah, I'm so happy that you love it so much! While I was drawing I was so excited and eager to show it to you because I knew you would love it, you always appreciate my art so much I know exactly what you mean about missing him, I miss Baron and Sugar so much it hurts. They are irreplaceable members of our families, a part of our hearts. Making art of our pets feels like a fitting tribute to them, so I really enjoy doing it. I bet Bear Bear was lots of fun to play with, I love the kitteny stage where everything is a game, and the way they roll onto their backs is just too cute. And then there is the fact that it means they trust you implicitly, to be baring their tummy, it really means they are a happy animal and that they love you. Gosh I love animals.
Simon must have gotten jealous, because at one point he straight up sat on the card and bit me.

I honestly sometimes feel like he's on the bed with me, like he jumped on the bed and then this feeling of something lying beside me when nothing is there... It then makes me sad because I tend to be in such a stage of sleep I reach for him only to find nothing there... ;n;
I really do love this so much, so very very much - With all my heart I love it. You really captured him so perfectly, almost as if you knew him or seen him!
He was so awkward though due to not being fully grown out of his kitten stage, and this playfulness really did just make my heart so happy to see. You are beyond amazing, and your art of course is amazing and I enjoy seeing it in my inbox once more along with the growth you've made as an artist. ^^
Oh no!! My cats do that sometimes! They get very jealous of things, mostly when I'm drawing and they are like NO PAY ATTENTION TO ME! Haha.
Our cat Mao actually reaches for us, and grabs your arm with her paw, or if your back is to her she'll paw at you. Tell Simon he is gonna get some love too! I have the perfect idea in my mind, so I'm super excited to get past these one submissions and start on it!

Awww...I'm sure Bear Bear must be there in spirit and that he misses you too. There is nothing quite like hearing that purr and feeling the warm fur on top of you. After Baron died, I kept on hearing his collar tags jingle around the house. And after Sugar, I was sure I heard her wheezy, old kitty purr coming from the window. I actually went to open it just to see if she was there.
Haha, Simon knows perfectly well he will get lots of love, he is just impatient and a bit of a jerk. If I stop petting him, he bites me! If I walk by without petting him, he attacks my leg or swats me as I pass.

Makes me wonder if they are still with us in some way... Though sadly BearBear is back at my old house in Ohio (which was his home). I wanted to get him cremated but I sadly didn't have the money for that. ;n; Plus the person I was with at the time said that was creepy, so. ;n; Middy has a rusty sounding purr though. XD Its so funny to him purr! Mao's purr is hard to describe, but she breaths so heavily when she purrs - She's fat.
Oh cats! Middy is the same way though I swear! Mao mostly sleeps in her own cat bed on our bed (which I have a picture of and should upload that because its funny), and Middy likes to bug me for attention. They also have a bad habit of biting/chewing wires too when they don't get a lot of attention or when we are gone for like more than a day. :/

I can't imagine why someone would think cremating a pet is creepy? I mean we do it with people. I've never looked into cremation, so I've no idea how expensive it is. However I grew up in the same house since I was 5 years old and our family has had quite a horde of pets come and go. We've now got our own pet cemetery in our backyard. We've got a total of 9 pets there. We'd have 11, but 2 of the cats just disappeared when they died.
You know, people think cats are all independent, but many of them really do crave human company. They tend to like people more than their own kind. Simon will be obnoxiously affectionate sometimes, licking my face with his sandpaper tongue and sneezing all over me suddenly, and then he acts confused when I push him off me. XD
