Wow, it has been awhile since I've reviewed anything! Time to get back to browsing DA! Anywho, onto this.
This honestly got me to laugh a little bit. You are right. I'm surprised nobody has tried this yet, given Wile E. and Wily (try saying that a few times fast!) are very much like each other. They both make elaborate plans and kooky inventions that end up backfiring in their faces and yet no matter how much abuse they endure, they just keep coming back for more! Destined to always try, but never succeed. I love it.
Anyway, onto the critique: you've nicely blended Looney Toon styled artork with the style that Mega Man is known for, making Wile E. shorter and more hunched over, even giving him slightly shorter ears and a shorter tail beneath the lab coat. THis is, of course, due to the more Mega Man styled art which you've carried out nicely. The lab coat? The tie? And of course, the moustache and hair? Absolutely wonderful. Wile E. looks very much the part of the archetypal mad scientist. Nice job on the Wily Saucer, too.
If I had to offer constructive criticism, it would be that you didn't get the skull dome over the saucer. I can see why you didn't, given the design of our favorite coyote, but it would have been nice. Other than that, this looks awesome.
Oh, and a little bit of advice to Wile E. If he REALLY wants to catch the Road Runner, use the Wily ship from the end of Mega Man 7! That thing is a NIGHTMARE! And good job on this. Welcome to the list.
