For this month's with ! WHAT an adorable character to draw!
I'm still experimenting with drawing actual settings, and though my art still looks really sloppy up close, I'm quite happy with what I have here.(I'm all proud of myself because I didn't use white gel pen. Ho ho ho ho)
MEDIA: India ink (nibs), watercolor, and colored pencil on bristol. 2.5x3.5 inches

I really love the lighting in this, everything looks so warm.
The line-art/inking is awesome. It's amazing that you could get the inking so clean/thin at such a small size.

Nibs, man! I don't know if I can go back to micron pens and the like after using these; there's no fear that I'm going to press too hard and break them.

Wow, this is absolutely incredible!
I'm seriously in awe of how much detail you've managed to pack into such a small area. The background is beautiful, and I love the look of the dappled lighting and the warm shadows. I've looked over it several times now, and I still marvel over the textures in the tree bark and the grass.
And, of course, Serge looks gorgeous! You've made him so fluffy and happy. It brought a smile to my face.

They never do! Plus, all of the little mistakes you make in more detailed areas get blown up to epic proportions. Cx Getting these cards in the mail is my favorite part of this group.
