OK... Here's one of my works from 2008.The MILO GIRLS (Season 2 characters. Princess the Volley Girl and Christelle the Bowling Girl)
Hehe, actually... I find the anime-ish version of the Bowling Girl very interesting (I even had a crush on her real life counterpart!
) so I thought of making a fanart of her. The Volleyball Girl on the other hand is also interesting. I find her hairstyle a bit unique. The funny thing is... her real life counterpart's full name reminds me of Terry Bogard's special move.... GAISER! I even thought of naming SPIKE DUNK as her special move! (imagine Terry's Power Dunk with a volleyball feel and twist.)
This is also passed as my entry for UP AME 8TH AVENUE FANART CONTEST . But unfortunately, it didn't won. That's life I guess, hehe!
[How It's Done]
*Lineart done in Manga Studio (I'm testing it that time)
*Colors used: Faber Castell Classic Colored Pencils
*Finished in PS CS2. Putting the lineart (multiply layer) on top of the scanned colored version. I wonder why it didn't matched... so I end up doing some transforming and warping... time consuming.
Credits will go to it's respective owner and the real life counterparts (i wished I knew them so I can credit them properly.) ^_^

Recently milo has been using anime style chars in their packaging in depicting players of different sports.
my guess here is that the artist created these as part of a contest.
