Oh I died twice to make this I couldn't die any other number of times, right?

Well, the couple I chose is Elda and Freya, from the Chobits series! The author is CLAMP. Take a peek: [link]

Have you heard of it? I think so I'll explain anyways, so beware! SPOILERS AHEAD!

A woman named Chitose couldn't have children, so her husband created a robot to be their kid. Her name was Freya, and she's the black one.
She fell in love with her creator, but unfortunatelly she knew her love was impossible. Also, she loved Chitose very much and wouldn't like to hurt her. So she starting getting sadder and sadder.

The situation was awful, so the man created another robot, Elda, the white one, to be Freya's sister. So she could have extra company and not feel so lonely.

In the beggining everything worked very well, Elda and Freya were great friends. But Freya had such a big love for her father that she couldn't stand it anymore.

One day, Freya broke.

Freya was almost "dying" when her sister Elda, that loved her very much, asked her to keep Freya's memories in Elda's body. So Freya's "heart", let's say, would keep living.
Freya accepted, and her memories were inserted into Elda's body. Elda was reseted and thrown away, so she could find her "special person".

And the man created more robots besides Elda and Freya, called "persocoms". He wished persocoms could be happy too, just as humans.

Aaaand... A lucky guy called Hideki finds Elda among some trash, and ta-da! When she wakes up, she only can say "Chi", this is why her "new name" is Chi.

But, her original name was Elda, so I kept Elda on the title.

Errrm... Yes I knew this was a big and bothering comment, besides being a spoiler
